Four Week Club - Starting Monday, April 14th? - WE ARE CLOSED! (Start at post 47!)

What the hell, right? Instead of a goal of losing a certain amount, I wanted to try supporting for time, not a number. Try a short term goal based on shaping behavior, not necessarily specific results.
(That being said, I'm aiming for a pound every three or four days.)
Me, today: 6 ft 1 / Currently: 203 Pounds / Goal Weight: 185 Pounds
Who wants to ride out a month together?
Weigh ins on Monday and Thursday mornings? Starting Monday April 14th and ending on Monday, May 12th?
Okay! We are good to go! I'll start us off with the caveat that I'll edit my weigh in tomorrow morning when I get up. It could be higher, courtesy of my little hot dog debacle earlier today.

Day 1 Weigh-In: Monday, April 14th
Marmel13: 203.5 pounds (I gained a half pound over night. WTF?)
Game plan for today:
Not drink at work. KIDDING!
Workout: Up at 6:45 for today's weigh in.
Then, off to the gym for half hour of 4.0 mile per hour treadmill, then half hour of basic health club workout with a trainer. Estimate for that, I can add 450 calories to the burn total, which gives me 2800 calories to subtract from today.
Will aim for between 1600 and 1900 calories in.
Challanges for me, today:
Up early for work out and work, always adds the time and space for an extra meal. Am writing in a room with other people, which means snacks everywhere. Plus, then I go into an editing bay for four hours - with nothing but crackers and crap to eat.
Need to remember to drink water, not soda and not eat crap, just because I'm bored.

I'm not at 195! WOO! Still losing, about a pound every weigh in. Gonna have to do SOMETHING to mix it up when the next run starts.
A cleanse? A body detox? Fact is, everything's working, but I don't want to stall out. I'm also exercising three times a week and tossing in a few cardio outside of the gym trips... So maybe.
I'm going to set a goal weight for the end of the next four run:

That gives me four and a half weeks to lose seven pounds. You guys have been pretty awesome in this whole thing... I think I can do it. And even if I can't, I think I can try.
How's everyone else doing?
I can tell you what I've been doing to break up any stalls/plateaus. Eat more every 4 or 5 days. Add in an extra 500 calories above my normally daily consumption. Right now, my daily is between 1800 - 1900, but on Thursdays I go between 2300 - 2400. I don't go and add in pizza, but I try to add in some good, lean meats, egg whites, extra turkey on my lunch salad/sandwich, extra fruit. Good foods, but extra calories to make sure my body doesn't go into starvation.
I do tend to make sure that I do cardio on the day I eat the extra food. Just my own guilt or something for eating the extra. Seems to be working pretty well for me. Got to keep the body guessing. Also mix up your exercises as well.
Weighed in today: 123 *sigh* But it's still better than 124, lol
It's been Teacher Appreciation Week, and it seems like food is the way to show appreciation, lol. Pizza, breakfast pizza, gourmet lunches, and the cinco de mayo luncheon. I'm surprised I haven't gained more!

Sorry! I forgot to weigh-in yesterday! The good news is I am back to 138 from my little "problem weekend/cinco de mayo" so that is good news. My goal for this month-long experiment was to get to 138, so I'm definitely on track...
My goal for the next month is to get below 135...

oh gosh. im feeling guilty.
so ive been gone because its been "senior week" aka community service, overnight, and bbq.....so i havent weighed in for a while. pretty scared to. i havent eaten well at all and can feel that weight again. HOWEVER, community service was essentaily hard labor....so im hoping maybe MAYBE some things cancelled out....ill know by tomorrow.
id love to be in the next forum even though ive been behaving badly lately...

Last day! I weighed in at 203.6 today. I started out on 4/12/08 at 212 lbs. So, in the month in this group, I've lost 8.4 lbs. I'm happy with those results.

goal: healthy :D The site recommends like 152 for me, I'd like to see a good 165 w/ muscle mass. goal date? I'm not setting one. I want to be healthy, not skinny tomorrow. that aside, the sooner the better right? :D
