free online workouts

In one of the previous topics someone mentioned yogatoday.com which looks like a fantastic site to do yoga at home.

While I do go to the gym sometimes I bail because of the snow or cold and I think a good compromise would be doing a video at home.

Does anyone have any online fitness sites that they use for workouts?

i would love to find some online fitness sites. i'm a sahm and i'm on a tight budget so,i have to watch what we spend so if i workout it has to be to some video or walking. love to find something online. i've checked out videos on youtube

maybe give this site a try

http://www.freetrainers.com/FT/jsp/index.jsp; jsessionid=hpab3go5k3

thye give you workouts on the goals you want to acheive and the equipment you own or have use to

I really appreciate this information. I've always wanted to try yoga, but I've never been brave enough to attend a class. I went to the site and enjoyed the beginnings of my first yoga experience.
sparkpeople.com has some free video workouts, and some articles and such. It's a very helpful site, over-all, but I find it has TOO MUCH info for me. My head spins when I try to get too deep into that place. Too many options, lol. Nice, free resource, though.

i LOVE this site: www.reachfitness.tv

I am a subscribing member (only $5 per month). At the moment I can't do the cardio because i'm recovering from anorexia, but honestly, getting back to these workouts are a motivator for me to get better!

It may sound weird but check with your cable company (if you have cable TV).  I have Time Warner and they have a free exercise channel.  They have hundreds of videos available - sort of like pay-per-view except they're all free.  This channel also has a website but I have never been to the site and can't remember what it is, since workouts on TV are more convenient for me than the internet.

my cable company has a 'fit tv' channel - i don't have the full cable package, but this channel is there.  There are a series of 30 minute and 60 minute workout sessions scheduled all day long.  I have thought of using tivo to keep the episodes I like, but my apartment is small so getting out to the gym even in bad weather can be a treat when feeling cooped up.  Good Luck!
