Can you freeze ripe bananas?

I've got one but I need 3 for a recipe I want to try out.

I have before, just don't leave them in for more than a couple days. The results were good. I made them into a sorbet of sorts. Try it out. Bananas are generally not to expensive so it wouldn't hurt to try.

I have frozen ripe bananas before and left them in there for months and my recipe for banana muffins turned out just as good as usual. I definitely think it is worth it!

I leave them in the freezer for months and still make awesome banana bread with them. Banana oatmeal chocolate chip cookies are great, too :)
