| 1 | cup lentils, baby "French", washed |
| 3 | cups water |
| 2 | inch kombu, piece, soaked & diced |
| 1 | corn, ear, sweet, kernels removed |
| 1 | carrot, diced 1/8" |
| 2 | t. soy sauce, shoyu |
- Place kombu and lentils in a pot. Add water down side of pot and bring to a boil over a medium high flame. When lentils are boiling, cover and reduce heat to medium and cook for 20 minutes.
- Add carrots and sweet corn, continue cooking covered for 20 minutes more, adding water if necessary.
- Add shoyu, cook five minutes more and serve warm.
