French Lentils with Corn and Carrots Recipe

Ingredients
1 cup lentils, baby "French", washed
3 cups water
2 inch kombu, piece, soaked & diced
1 corn, ear, sweet, kernels removed
1 carrot, diced 1/8"
2 t. soy sauce, shoyu
Directions
  1. Place kombu and lentils in a pot. Add water down side of pot and bring to a boil over a medium high flame. When lentils are boiling, cover and reduce heat to medium and cook for 20 minutes.

  2. Add carrots and sweet corn, continue cooking covered for 20 minutes more, adding water if necessary.

  3. Add shoyu, cook five minutes more and serve warm.
