This thread has been created for those who want to post their weigh-ins frequently.
Encouragement and accountability is here to help you on your healthy journey.
Reason: "sticky" post
Up this morning - 468.0 - no surprise considering circumstances caused me to have dinner at 7 PM. My menu consisted of brown rice, beef and asparagus but this was too heavy a meal when my cutoff eating is at 7:30 PM.
234- Up one pound from yesterday. Mostly caused by eating pancakes late last night and not exercising.
210.4 ~ down half a pound from yesterday. Gotta love the yo-yo-ing... That's an interesting idea, Norma Jean, I might try cutting out carbonation. I think I'll try limiting myself to 16 oz. per week, that's a 14th of what I've been drinking!
8/4 - 210.4
8/5 - 210.0
8/6 - 212.6
8/7 - 210.8
I really have no clue what my weight will be saturday morning... But that dang 212.6, I see that number so often! I can't seem to get away from it!
Good job Jessica! Keep up the good work.
I on the other hand, will admit I have not been too active here on CC. I check in on the posts but my "heart" has been elsewhere.
Time to get back on track in keeping up with the posting and journaling.
Hope you all have a great day!
~Norma Jean

Doesn't this just look wrong? I'm eating 1600-2000 calories per day and NOT exercising. I guess this medication I'm withdrawing from really did cause weight gain/increased appetitie!
It is hard to figure out what our bodies do and why our weight fluctuates so much. That is why it is a good idea to keep track of what you eat - when you eat - weigh yourself for two weeks everyday. You will be able to see a pattern of what works and what doesn't.
229 lbs!!! Finally out of the 230s. It stinks being stuck there for nearly a year. Good luck to everyone else. ![]()
Hi all!
After I had no loss on Saturday's weigh-in I finally made it down another lb today! Yeah! :o)
Sep 5 - 251
Sep 6 - 250
Sep 7-13 - 249 (a whole week and no change)
Sep 14 - 248
All the best to everyone! Brigit
I liked this format for daily weigh-in which was introduced in the forum by one of the moderators in I Can Do All Things Through Christ (where I also moderate) - so I thought I'd share it over here too:
- What is your Current Weight: 473.2
- What is your Loss/Gain: .6 lbs loss
- What is one thing you can add/change to your food this week: drink more water - add back to 2 fruits/3vegetables daily - stop drinking carbonated beverages
- What is one new exercise you can try this week: increase my steps lifting
- What is one piece of good advice you have gotten from someone during your journey to a healthier you: Remove the word diet from your vocabulary and replace it with a term like healthy living.
(TOM hit me hard on the 13th - very heavy and energy zapped - last menses was in June and prior to that February. My hormones are way off. )
- What is your Current Weight: 247
- What is your Loss/Gain: +2 lb gain
- What is one thing you can add/change to your food this week: drink more water - seeing a nutritionist on Wednesday
- What is one new exercise you can try this week: actually I already work out 1 hour before work... Well... I guess I could try and walk a little more instead of taking the bus!
- What is one piece of good advice you have gotten from someone during your journey to a healthier you: Since yesterday I know exactly how much my metabolism burns each day and I can be more exact with my calorie intake. That's a great success for me and I am extremely motivated - even though my metabolism is 10% slower than the average person's metabolism... which means I have to work extra hard to lose 1-2 lb per week!
Will I lose weight if I eat the same food over and over?
You can lose weight despite eating the same food day-after-day as long as you eat fewer calories than you burn. In fact, eating the... Read more
