I'm starting over! I just jumped back on the scale after about a month of not dieting. During that month, I ate really healthy, but I did not keep a food journal. I exercise about 5-6 days a week (running and lifting weights), so I'm pretty solid. My game plan is to eat 1200 calories a day and to stick to my exercise routine. I would like to lose a at least 12 lbs in about 6 weeks.

So, I created this new topic for anyone who needs some support as they try to lose that last little bit of weight! Track your progress here...

My only question is "Did you gain weight during that month while eating healthy and dieting?" Just curious.

@bmfan77: I don't get it... Do you want me to tell her "OMG YOU'RE ONLY EATING 1200 calories?! And you're exercising! That's simply not enough! You have to eat more than that! If not, your body will just hold on to fat and not lose weight!" There. I did it for you :)

well the nic is "gus18" and he/she said "im pretty solid" sounds like something a guy would say to me. So an 18 year old male eating 1,200 calories in no where near enough. but hey I could be wrong, gus18 might be a 3' 9" female so 1,200 calories might be just right !

hahaha No. I'm a female. lol Yes. I gained that weight during the month I was eating healthy. I'm a vegetarian and lactose intolerant, so I don't eat tons of fat. Mainly veggies, fruits, whole grains, and certain foods for protein. On the days that I workout really hard I eat a good 500-900 calories more because I know my body needs it. I'm just trying to find that healthy medium. I'm very active, so that's why I said I'm "solid." I played soccer for 10 years and I just enjoy outdoor sports.   

I haven't been great the last few months.. i was around 110 (want to be 108) and so i've been weighing myself every day.. 113.8 tuesday, 113.6 wednesday 113.2 thursday 113 today.  hoping to just lose these 3 lbs again.. then see how i feel.  i don't really exercise though. (i'm just under 5'2'')

I took a week off for vacation and didn't worry about exercise or what I put in my mouth.  Fortunately I gained maybe 2 lbs. at most, but I'm only about 5 lbs. away from my goal.  I am excited though because for the past 5 months I've exercised regularly and that's twice as long as I usually go before I go back to my old habits.  I'm making good so far on my new healthier lifestyle! 

Today I weighed 121.  I have not set a goal date, but would like to get down to 115.  I'm mostly happy with where I'm at and don't mind if it takes a while....I don't know. I'll say August 31 is my goal date.

I would recommend stepping on the scale only once a week and in the morning. Your weight tends to fluctuate a bit.
