I am paying 160K for my house...and it needs some work, ubt its in a 'high' crime area.

I have easter eggs infront on me... hmmmmm...... 

Apparently the house i'm in now is only worth about £40K... and this is a high crime town. Someone gets stabbed everyday

the casinos in downtown St.Louis are still boats for the most part, even though they dont move anymore, the ones on the missouri in Maryland heights are the ones that dont even resemble boats at all,  just big buildings built next to or on a river, its quite sad. I dont really consider myself an "environmentalist" due to all the political implications, but I do consider myself a conservationist. polution in our natural areas really pisses me off and I do frequently join volunteer clean up opperations in natural areas.

Everyone like to say "think globaly , act locally" , unfortunately most people only do the first part, the "thinking".  I prefer to do the second part. the world would be a lot cleaner if everyone would just clean their own damn yard.

sound slike batimore minbin - except they get shot and die.  It's like one person a day or more.  I'm glad I'm way north of the city (about 35 miles)

although there's 250,000 people in this town... most of who i consider pointless beings, so it ones is stabbed a day.... some new nice people may move here... maybe.... what do i care i'm leaving the first chance i get!

'high' crime in my town is drugs and car theft. Basically people get high and steal cars for fun. Kinda like where I went to high school except bigger. Its also pretty low income.

I did taxes here this year and it amazes me how little some people were making. I took a big hit financially moving from NC and there are ppl making half what I do and they have kids to take care of.

Ugh. I used to live in what was apparently the #1 unsafest place to keep your car in the U.S.

Crime here is..car crime, road crime (RTA's hit n runs), house crime, violence... etc etc its all happening here.

hehe my hometown is considered one of the safest places car wise... WR1 is the cheapest place to insure a car, my hometown is WR14 :D

Hooligan - the ones on the Missouri cropped up after I moved away for college and before I came back this past year.  I was really shocked to see them!  Not at all like the ones downtown.  Never been to any, since I don't gamble, but I think the new ones are an eyesore.

I'd consider going in with a small amount of "blow" cash. For the fun of it. :)

There's a casino in Buffalo I've never been to, but I have been to Atlantic City for a couple of hours. :)
