Hi ya'll! I know it's Monday, but I thought maybe somebody might be interested in a Friday weigh in club. I have lost 60 pounds and have another 30 to go. I usually weigh every day, twice a day actually. Since I am losing slower now and I tend to eat out on the week end and have water gain on Monday, I thought maybe just once a week on Friday would be better. What do you guys think? I started at 245, weigh 184.5 and am going for 155. Take care, linda

I just started last weekend. Starting weight was 170 and today I'm 163. Seems a bit extreme over just a week, but the 170 was weighed by my Doctor, and 163 at my house, so maybe my clothes weighed a whole lot at the Drs office?! I've also heard you can lose a lot of fluids in the early weeks? Well, it will be great if it lasts but I will try and be realistic and expect just a pound next week.

I agree, Mondays are terrible for me because I often end up with a bit of a surplus on the weekends.

I would like to join this forum if it's ok with everyone. I am ashamed that I could not seem to type my weight on Friday, it took me this long to get up the nerve to post this. I really do not know my true weight my scale doesn't go that high. I believe its around 325. I marked off some ticks to get a guess. I just recently joined. I found all of your posts very hopeful and hope is something I need right now.

I'd like to join also!! This week has been my most lost in one week ever! I am down 1.5 pounds from last week - and 7 pounds total.

Today was 210.8 again. Been there for three days now. Had high-calorie days this week, not so many good choices.
I've lost 1 lb from my top weight (on Oct 13) but 1.9 lb from the average.
p.s. To those of you despairing about yo-yo weights: there is a natural variance from day to day in weight, so I weigh every day and then count the trends as my weight loss/gain, not the day to day stuff. That's too distracting (and sometimes depressing).
Anyway, 1+lbs lost, 40 to go!

well as of this morning i am 261.2! that would be a 31.8lb loss so far.
im lookin to lose 11.2lbs by christmas!! hopefully i can stick to this

161.4 today, so 1.6 pounds lost since last friday. Only a little bit, but easy does it, huh?
For a newbie, it's so great to read all your results, 30 pounds lost, 20 pounds lost, etc. Reading that keeps me going.
I was surprised when I revisited my profile edit thing and its advising I reduce my calories by another 100. Oh, poop! I didn't think it would get harder so much sooner, but I guess I've crossed into some new weight category and need fewer cals now. I never was any good at Math!!

Friday weigh ins are great I have my weigh ins at TOPS on Thursday mornings this week I weighed 262.50 I gained 7 and a half pounds in a very short time and I am very disapointed in myself over it.
i was weighing on friday's befor i found this site so this works better for me too, but i like to weigh every other week so i don't get discouraged. i like seeing a bigger drop in weight less often it helps keep me motivated. so i hope it is ok if i share my success with you all every other week. last weighed 238 on 11-13. my goal is 180 and i started at 262
