Hi ya'll! I know it's Monday, but I thought maybe somebody might be interested in a Friday weigh in club.  I have lost 60 pounds and have another 30 to go. I usually weigh every day, twice a day actually. Since I am losing slower now and I tend to eat out on the week end and have water gain on Monday, I thought maybe just once a week on Friday would be better. What do you guys think?  I started at 245, weigh 184.5 and am going for 155. Take care, linda

Hi, I'm new.  I've never posted before but I weighed myself at the gym today and was down 5 whole pounds.  I joined 12/28/07 @ 202, and promised myself I'd watch my portions and alcohol. I also felt the need to post to be accountable, I need to lose.12/28/07 – 202 lbs02/01/08 – 197 lbs

  • February 8, 2008: 215 LB (97.5 KG)
  • Current weight: 215.6 LB (97.8 KG)
  • Weight gained this week: 0.6 LB (0.3 KG)

Ok, one week down and it wasn't bad at all.  I only lost one pound, but if I can do that every week and just eat normal foods that I like (no ones forcing any cottage cheese on me), then I could keep this up forever.  I actually could go to my son's blue and gold banquet and eat a hamburger and Texas sheet cake without going over my 1800 calories for the day.  In the past I might have taken the banquet as an excuse to drop whatever diet I was on and eat whatever I wanted.  I might have had the misissippi mud pie, Boston cream donuts and the baked Alaska along with the Texas sheet cake.

SW:  200 lbs. (Feb. 20, 2009)

CW:  199 lbs.

Weight lost this week:  1 lb.

Total weight lost:  1 lb.

Goal weight 170 lbs.

Was psyched to find this thread to keep me motivated week to week Laughing Great work everybody who's sticking to it and seeing results !

I'm only 12 days into my diet & workout regimen but so far it looks like I'm pretty much right on target with my daily calorie deficit. I've been aiming for 1800 per day (1000 calorie deficit according to the caloric expenditure calculator) and based on my weight loss over the past 12 days, I've averaged 1860 per day.

Starting weight (Feb.16): 195.8 lbs
Current weight (Feb.27): 192.6 lbs
Total weight lost: 3.2 lbs
Goal weight: 175 lbs

My GW-? As low (in a healthy way) my body will go! Whether that be a size 12 or size 6.

Ok, second Friday 'weighing in':

Starting weight (Feb.16): 195.8 lbs
Current weight (Feb.27): 191.0 lbs
Total weight lost: 4.8 lbs (~25% of goal)
Goal weight  by May 1: 175 lbs

So far pretty much right on schedule and can see results in the mirror to back up the numbers Laughing
