Hi ya'll! I know it's Monday, but I thought maybe somebody might be interested in a Friday weigh in club.  I have lost 60 pounds and have another 30 to go. I usually weigh every day, twice a day actually. Since I am losing slower now and I tend to eat out on the week end and have water gain on Monday, I thought maybe just once a week on Friday would be better. What do you guys think?  I started at 245, weigh 184.5 and am going for 155. Take care, linda

I lost 4 LBS since last monday... I made it through my christmas dinner at my house!!!my house!! no where to hide!!  I am down to 170lbs.
If you guys won't mind I would love to join your club.  I have been working off and on trying to lose the 80 pounds i gained after leaving the army two years ago.  I was 135 back in may and I have found myself plateued at 185.  I am trying to get myself as far down as i can go because i am trying to rejoin the army.  I too am in that cycle of weighing myself first thing in the morning and then again before bed....and it too puts me on an emotional rollercoaster.  I had a bad month in novemebr and brought myself up to 193 and i did a natural foods fast this week to jumpstart my mission.  my weigh in now is 185  and my goal is to reach 159 by march 24th!!!!  so i have 27 more pounds to go!!!!   happy holidays and good luck!
Good job, chrisrai!  We're going to my inlaws, so there's no controlling the menu, just what I eat.

I ate everything fattening at the Xmess party last night and I got on the scales to see I had lost half a pound since yesterday.

151 lbs here.
Can I join? YeeHaw! Actually I am a city man so do not let the yeehaw confuse you~ I am grateful for CC it has changed my life. I am six foot and weighed in at 235 when I started and I am now down to 223! I am so excited! I do not want to be self-absorbed or anything like that but I do want to look great. I am striving for the brad pitt or mathew mckonahey look. And yes I spelled mckonahey wrong lol. I am 36 and feel pretty great. I want women to look at me and say "That dude is super fine!" LoL. You peepz are the greatest for shizzle and lots of Luv! Rob
Hi ya'll! Great to hear all the excitment from you all. It encourages me!! I have been awol here lately. Since Thanksgiving I have been in a non losing mode just trying not to gain. Well Thanksgiving I weighed 180. On Wed dec 27 I weighed 187. Today Fri dec 29 I weigh 182.5 Water weight gain so I guess I didn't do too bad after all. I was so scared to step on the scale this week. I ate pie and candy and all the no nos. I did keep up my 3 mile walk every day. and I stayed in the mind set of watching what I ate most of the time, and keep my eye on the goal even tho I was lax in practice. So back on the band wagon and work on 28 more pounds to lose by SUMMER!! Keep up the good work, I wil be back next Friday,God willing! love linda
I have maintained at 117. No new loss. :-(. It's good though, because I didn't gain over the holidays!

Congrats to everyone else who maintained or lost. To those who gained; get back on the horse! You can do it.
I ate again with christmas this week, but i did do 10 mile treks through valleyforge on christmas eve and christmas day which helped me alot i got on the scale this morning and am at 184.5!!!!  so thankfully the two slices of keylime pie and piles of other junk didnt kill me.  and the weight i lost from the juice fast didnt rubberband back.....good luck to you guys

Ok, I have my start weight!  Downward Ho! Ho! Ho!
I started on November 13th.  I originally started January 2006, but lost track after February during the time our company was merging.  Now I'm back on track as of November 13th. I usually weigh myself on Monday.  That way I'm not disappointed if I didn't lose much.  Since I last weighed myself on Christmas day, I lost 9 pounds.  I currently weigh 183. 

A little more info: I was never up at this weight until I met my boyfriend who is a chef.  We've both gained a bit of weight over the last 1-1/2 years and now we are both watching how much and what we eat.  My highest weight was 195. When I started back on watching my consumption I was 192 and now 183. I've been riding my exercise bike 3 times per week.  I started at a low tension, 6.2 miles, burned 300+ calories in for about 18 minutes.  I increased the tension last week. Since I increased the tension, I was able to go 4.2 miles, 200 calories and 13 minutes.  As of last night, I was at 4.4 miles, 13 minutes and 215 calories.  I put in my favorite CD's and ride to the music.  Last night was tough with Billy Joel's greatest, but I did it. 

I'll keep you informed on my Friday weight starting next week and any updates. Good luck to everyone and hang in there! Have a wonderful New Year!
253 this week...up 1.4 since last friday but with christmas and what not...ill take it lol still a 40lb loss!
208.4 yesterday, but considering the holiday... :)  I'm probably still holding on to water weight... Family's going home today, so it's back on track. :)

Ok the Friday before Christmas I was down to 133.5 sadly I've been weighing 3-ish pounds heavier ever since.  Finally this morning I'm back down to 134.  Still up .5 pounds but at least on my way back down!
Lost 1 more pound. I'm now at 182.
Can I join this post?  I usually weigh on Fridays, although this week I've been weighing every day because I gained a couple of pounds over Christmas and I was making sure that the scale was going down.  I'm down 10 pounds since October, but I've only been really serious here for a month.  I lost my Christmas weight - down to 201.7 today.   twinmama
I gained a half pound due to going out to lunch yesterday and making poor choices and Christmas candy in the evening. :(
I will not be weighing this Friday. TTOM is near and I do better not knowing if I gain anything for about a week and a half. ;-)

I'll blame my .5 pound gain on women's issues.  Not the candy I had last night. :) It's all related though.  The women's issue made me eat the candy!
206.5 today at my parent's house.  I traveled yesterday, so the almost one lb. difference is probably unhealthy travel food.  :)  I was 205.6 yesterday, +0.2 from my lowest (just before Christmas).  I officially maintained over the holidays!!! :)
