Friday weigh in????
hey guys.
first CC+ is amazing. its so easy to log everything and it counts all the cal's for you. minimum work required. love it! thanks to the creators, even though u can make logging a tad bit more functional.
stats: 6'1, start: 240+ lbs, 22 Y.O.no exercise, heavy smoker, party animal, buffet annihilator. yea. quite the record.
ive been really good lately, i signed up for the gym on Jan 08, weighing 240+. i goofed off for the first 2 weeks doing just swimming, adding bpm monitoring a week in. i added weight training to my work out along with some supplements such as whey protein powder.
i currently hit the gym 6xweek, doing both aerobic and weight lifting, monitoring bpm for both, and i eat well for all 7 days. I do not drink anymore, even on weekends. This is impressive considering i was 2 steps away from in the dictionary with my picture next to "drunk".
I work out 6 x week, half an hour (minimum) cardio and 1 hour min lifting. I keep my try bpm between 150 and 175 (up to 85%), optimally 170. i work really hard on cardio and weight lift as mucha si can with possible form. i dont bother much with bpm while lifting, except once or twice per session tops.
yesterday morn, i weighed in at 230. 10 pound loss in a month!! YESS!! this is gonna be shorter than i thought.
My goal is 180 SKINNY, so i assume ill end up 200 with muscle cuz i want to be ripped not, boney.
A word to all: Motivation is KEY. If you don't want it, then put it aside and dont bother. My philosophy in life is go hard or go home. All or nothing. theres no half effort. a half effort will make ur dieting times at least twice as long, if not longer. get the willpower guys!! treat your body well and make up for the neglect you put your body through over the years. but dont do anything dumb like anorexia. thats just not cool.

What ever happened to the 150's group?? (Today's weigh in: 151.6) Calbert, I'm sure your body is holding on to water since it's really easy to get dehydrated with the flu. You'll be under 150 in no time.
Munsey, it's good to see you still keep-on keepin'-on. I love your "totally worth it" mentality. It's what life's all about isn't it? I had icecream last night and it was totally worth it.

keeping myself honest here....gained a lot over the last three months, and working to get back into a healthy eating pattern *SIGH*
Caroljoy, you hang in there. Spring is around the corner. Weight loss is sooo much easier then.

I'm at 198.6 this week. Which is down from my starting weight of 215. And down from last Friday's 200 even.
I'm looking forward to spring--it's so cold and icy outside, walking outside is pretty much out. I can't afford a gym. I have no indoor stairs. And the treadmill is getting really boring. But when spring comes at least I have the option of outdoor walking.
I'm happy that you are so close to the 150s again. Right now, I'm hating 152lbs because I got a taste of the 140s....149 to be exact. sighs

And Calbert....I'm sooo proud of you! Tell me, what do the 140s feel like? My goal is 155. That's as light as I can hold on too. The work won't end at that number though. The toning and tightening is ongoing. Thankfully, I've learned to love the gym and be dedicated. At my age, when you loose weight, things just don't go back where they belong on their own. The lost elasticity, I'm afraid. But I refuse to give in to it. The 140s! *****munsey is daydreaming*****
*sigh* Scale is on the upward move again (152). I'm starting to think the 140's are unattainable. ***foxylady dreaming too***
Gosh darnitt, I'm just not going to accept that. I can be good. I can make up for the two plates of pasta last night. Today I will exercise and eat right. And by Friday........ 150! (But I'll still round down ;) )
LOL, be careful what you wish for... today's weigh-in...150.9. I'm doing the February challenge and my goal was 4 lbs this month. I'm two down with two to go. 149 here I come!!!!!!!!!!!!
