its a maple and chocolate one *was my favorite* and i can totally smell it, yeah it smells good, but i dont have the urge to go walk down the the store she got it from and get one too. im just sitting here eatting my oats and chocolate fiber one bar, and im just fine with that. =) im proud of myself! has anyone else had moments like that, where u realize, its JUST FOOD and your cravings for things u once loved fade away, i used to LOVE mcdonalds, but now, i think about how greasey it is. ew.

Sometimes I go to the store with my boyfriend and we get a donut to share. He eats about 3/4ths of it, and I savor my 1/4th. Doesn't cost me many calories, but I still get to enjoy my donut!

And yes, your body will go through this "eww grease" phase while dieting, but mine came back with maintenance! mmm french fries. Gah!

Congrats for hanging in there. Donuts can be quite tempting. But those fiber one bars taste amazing too.

I can totally relate. Every friday night i used to get a takeaway consisting of a 1/4 cheese burger with chicken and kebab meat, cheese covered fries and onions rings. Now when everyone is around mine ordering their greasy food i can sit back and say no thanks i have already eaten. I don't even miss it the smell puts me off. Also mcdonalds used to be one of my favourite places to eat and i used to go at least 3 times a week - i have not visted there in 6 months :)

i havent been to Mcdonalds in forever either, when i used to eat really bad, i watched that super size me thing about how gross mcyds is, and when it was over i was like u know what i want to go there and eat now , it didnt faze me, but now i think about it and im like. seriously what was i thinking, i ate there like 3ish times a week and i would get like a big meal thing. pop fries the chicken things. thats where all this extra weight came from! i wish i could go back in time and stop myself. oh well im fixing my mistakes now.

I just realised i used to eat 2 double cheeseburgers and large fries coming to nearly 1400 cals for my dinner! I eat 1400 cals a day now. i watched the supersize me thing too and it didnt faze me either in fact at the time i think i was eating mcdonalds yuck

Oh, last night one of my friends went to get a snack of mozzarella sticks and a king-sized Snickers bar.  She offered it to me, but I pride myself on being able to say, yeah, I want some, but, no thank you.  I took one bite of the Snickers and that was great, and perfectly satisfying.  I have never stopped craving those foods I love, but I can resist them, and the little voice in my head DOESN'T say, "You've been so good, you can have the chicken tenders!" or "Just one mozzarella stick won't hurt!"  I think that's due in part to the fact that I always feel like an underachiever with diet, like "I COULD have been better," haha.  But at any rate.  I probably overdid my cals yesterday, but at least it wasn't because of mozzarella sticks.

I just ate a burger at a restaurant last week for the first time in at least 3 months (probably more like 5 or 6... I can't even remember??) and I loved it, it was delicious (blue cheese, my favorite!) but then I got an allergic reaction when I was working out at the gym afterwards. I hadn't had beef since the last time I had had a hamburger (no desire, I guess...) so I really think it was that my body wasn't used to the grease and perhaps the burger was poorly prepared, who knows. It was crazy, though... all the grease sat so awful on my stomach, and I used to be able to down those bad boys like no body's business! I guess my body has different plans, now. (But I won't ever be able to give up blue cheese burgers! Even if they do make me have an allergic reaction!)

OH god I love donuts.  Once a month I'll get a coffee roll or an apple fritter from Dunkin Donuts and they're literally the size of my head.  And I enjoy every crumb of it.  It's actually quite sickening... haha
