a friend got her period back after 4 years...

and she is overweight, the heaviest she has ever been, so she's concerned whether the weight she is currently stuck with will be her set-point, or if there is ever such a thing?

She should ask her doctor about this. It's not normal for someone to need to be physically overweight (BMI>25?) before they regain fertility. 

yeah, her BMI is greater than 25 and she wasn't even drastically underweight to begin with, but her body shut down awhile ago and they told her her hormones were very low on estrogen.  just thought if anyone experience the same and i might be able to pass it to her.
