My friend can see me but I can't see her---please help

Hello,

I had a friend recently sign up and she was able to add me as a friend but I can't add her or even find her by screen name.  I've never had a problem adding someone as a friend before.  This new friend has a BRAND NEW account though---   Does it have something to do with her privacy setting?---and if so how do you even make your account "public".  If that is the problem I can't seem to remember or find where you would change that.

Someone please help!  I want to be able to have her in my friends list so we can write eachother.

When you go to your profile, do you see her username on your Friends or Friends Of lists?

If so, click on her username and at the top right hand corner of her profile you will see add buddy.

I can't see her at all....I can't even find her when I search by screen name----does anyone know how to resolve this.

Sorry it took me a while to reply----I lost my dog this weekend but we found him--YAY.

What is your friend's username?

Edit:  Is your friend sschmidt13?  That is the only member that has you as a friend and you haven't friended back.  (This is viewable by going to your Profile)
