162 for me. Olivia it is on - However I can tell you right now, your muscle knocks me out of the water, I'm still "cuddly" or "fluffy" haha Let me know what the challenge is! I have my first day of inservice on Aug. 20 then start with kids the following Monday. I'll have night class on Wed. and I talked to my manager at the restaurant today and will be working on Thursday nights and Saturdays some time for awhile. This will give me some time for myself during the week ( I hope)
To all of the other losers, I wish you well this weekend/ week -- I'm off for a little bar volleyball and a beer or two - it wouldn't be volleyball without it! Here's to good choices the rest of the week, cheers! ![]()

I need a diet buddy, and quick! I just moved to a different state and so I don't really have any friends yet here. Moving has put quite a strain on my financial resources so all I've been doing lately is eating cheap junk food like crazy. I've gained 6 pounds since moving here, and I've only been here for a month! I am 22 years old ( I have been heavy for most of my life) 5'6 and I now weigh 198 pounds. My heaviest was 220 and I promised myself I would never go over 200 pounds again, so it's time to really hit the healthy eating and exercising trail. While I want to recieve and provide support for anyone, I am specifically looking for someone about my age and weight who wants to give and receive intense support to finally meet my weight and health goals! I've tried with my husband, and he loses weight way faster than I do, and I get discouraged. I've tried with my mom and my best friend, but they are my eating buddies, not my diet buddies. So please please, if you are out there, contact me and lets start this!

I missed weigh in yesterday. I was 157. Up 1 from last week but thats ok.
It's been a crazy weekend so far. This is the first minute I've had to myself. I'm exhausted. It's Bailey's birthday - she's 6. Today I've made 2 cakes(big castle cake I have to assemble for tomorrow) and 20 birthday cupcakes. I took the kids to ride the bumper boats. Omg we got soaked but it was so much fun. It was raining too but thats ok. Then we got ice cream cones and went to a park. I had the best cone. It was pink grapefruit sorbet. yum. Then we came home so the kids could have cupcakes with the other kids we share a backyard with(13 of the 20 cupcakes). Then my X inlaws came to give Bailey her presents and some back to school stuff for that kids. Tomorrow we have the princess castle cake and pinata party at my parents house.

I hate to say it, but I'm feeling the all too familiar weekend regret! I ate pretty well on the way down to NC on Friday: we packed popcorn for mindless munching, peaches, and black cherries. We stopped at a Burger King for dinner but I had a Jr Whopper no mayo and just a couple of fries. Not bad for a travel day.
Now Saturday didn't go so well. My stepdaughter made eggs, turkey bacon and BISCUITS for breakfast. (It was cute, she was so proud of her biscuits.) We didn't stock up at a grocery before we left so we stopped at a gas station and grabbed a donut & split a bagel. When we got home we made Rubin sandwiches & had black & tans. Yesterday I was sabotaged by raisin bars some little old lady gave us. I think I ate 6 (!!), it was ridiculous. Gotta keep those things OUT of the house from now on!
Another new week; I'm going to just put it out of my mind and get back on track today. I got up early, did 2 loads of laundry, cut some wallpaper, had my regular <200 calorie oatmeal breakfast, and walked to work.

i do feel like doing a lot of emotional eating today (i was offered a trip abroad, hotel and a plane ticket paid, and my boss says it is unnecessary for me to go, although it is not this company that pays for it, so he would basically get some use from a business trip without having to pay for it, and would have a motivated person, ie me, in this company. GRRR. i know he is jealous but it id not an excuse. as soon as he wrote me this evil email i have inhaled my whole snack planned fot 2 hrs later-luckily it was only a cup of cut-up pineapple, so no damage done-but it did help me recognize ow the emotional eating works... so everything bad has some use too.
i do plan to go though.)
Oh, bad boss!!! I hope you won't let his bad attitude and jealousy get to you anymore! Heck, if you're planning to go anyway you'll want to look your best, right? Hope it works out! (I'm crazy jealous too!!!)

Chris you probably did not do that much damage. Your weightloss has been amazing so i am sure you can get it going again with no problem.
Immom - birthday parties are so fun with the younger kids but boy it is great when all they are all done!!
Rachel - glad you are doing so great. Sounds like your summer has been fun filled.
My weight is 130.8 up by 0.4. At least it is not going up by much. I will be at 129 by next week...I will....I will.

I am feeling good if very tired.
Today was my first day back at work/school. Instead of feasting on free doughnuts, I sipped green tea and enjoyed an apple. At 10AM, they replenished the lard basket (I mean, doughnuts) and we took a break. I ate a banana. At lunch, when the SUbway 16 foot subs, chips, and junk food came out, I had a piece of sandwich with 1/2 the bread -- and enjoyed it with my brought from home salad and pudding. And I drank enough water.
I got up early today and got in my workout BEFORE work -- 400 cals burned biking and Bowflex'ing. GO ME
We can do this, ladies!!!!
Wow Olivia, you are doing so good. What a way to start your first day of school. I have a treadmill but I think I am going to look for an exercise bike because I am sure I could burn more calories on that. I saw one at a garage sale I was driving by and I should have stopped.....dang it.

I like it. I can zone out, watch tv or listen to music, it goes very fast, and the bike has a display showing miles, time, speed, and cals burned. ROCK ON!!
I love jogging with my doggie, but my knees are not too forgiving, so I am trying to go every other day.....
Sound like everyone is doing well. My knees gave out along time ago Olivia, the army took care of that. Have a good night all.
Thanks so much for the replies to my post on the previous page. :) I am happy to add that I am now 91.5 pounds! I've gained three pounds over the past several days. I'd like to be 93 - 95, that would be perfect for my frame. At 91 pounds I feel better, and my arms look much much better, fuller. I can wear short sleeves again because I've got some fat back on me. Thanks to the box of Twinkies I've been eating on every day. ( Well not actually eating on the box, lol )
Tonight I had a barbeque and had a few friends over, and I really ate good. I'm stuffed! Everything was so good, I had to sample it all. :) I've got two more short vacations planned before the end of summer, then it's time to look towards winter I guess, and maintaining my weight. It's going to be interesting to see if I can actually do it. I sure hope so. Because it would sure be discouraging to gain back all this weight I worked so hard to lose.
