For sure puppy! Add me

that guy was crazy!! he became clingy and obsesive. Had to end that. The new guy is a single dad and i love his accent! It's a mild accent, I'm still trying to figure out what it is. we met at our daughters' ballet class. Our sons our both named Jared and are 8(my Jared is 8 on Halloween). He's only at ballet every other week, the X wifewill be there this week. He asked for my # last Saturday cause Jared invited Jared to his bday party. I didn't ask for his but he gave it to me. I feel so silly...

I added you too Bella

I guess since this is my first "official" weigh in on this post, I will just lay it out there....   maybe too much sodium this week?    everything else should be on the up and up.   BUT despite my low lat week of 153, I was 157 this morning.

dang it

Immom- I added you and Puppy, hope you don't mind, I added you as well.

I kinda made the first move on my love- he was being to shy about it, so I had to :) AND I am not brave :)

Immom, maybe you could call him re: the party just to confirm that he is coming as if you were just calling all the parents and then the conversation can go from there?

Hang in there J- the body does weird things sometimes, I am convinced that I weigh more when it is cold lol. You will see 153 next week I bet. ;)

thanks for the support, bella.  I hope so!!!!  ( :

I like that idea, mom --- call K and talk the party confirmation and just see.   a motivated man CAN make conversation with a pretty lady.    Hope the party is a blast too.

and go, girl, bella!!!  I am not shy, but certain boys and certain things sometimes....  that's kind of like the guy I am going to see in St Louis, M.    when we met as teenagers, he was upstairs sort of working for his grandparents at my favorite thrift shop, sitting there in his tie dye t-shirt and playing his guitar, looking hot.   I started talking right away and never looked back.  Together 2 years.    ( :   then we broke up after his junior prom.   Didn;t see each other much after that, but have kept in touch all this time.....    I cannot wait to see if the chemistry is the same for a 31 and 32 year olds as it was for 14 and 15.    Wish me luck!!

Kim, oh yeah this area is loaded with hunters. I don't think the teenagers are as in to it as when I was young, but it's still big. We don't have school the first two days of deer season (they used to close for doe & buck season starts but they aren't separate now, I think.) My dad was a hunter and my two brothers still are so I do get a little venison from time to time. DH & SS don't hunt & but my son does a little. He's talking about going out this year but we'll see. He hasn't for a few years, it seemed to me he lost interest after he shot one.  Not grossed out or anything, he just seemed to think of it as a done deal. (My ex 'hunted' but never shot anything. LOL) Venison is great. So little fat and nice flavor if it's cooked right. The stores have sales here at the beginning of hunting season, they call them 'Deer widow sales.'

j-nay, now don't sweat it (figuratively anyway), you know it'll go away. I'm sure it's just sodium.

I was surprised I was down a pound from yesterday. DH made spaghetti sauce yesterday that was sooo salty I almost choked! Ah, well, he forgives my screw ups so what can I say?

chris- maybe your body in some way rejected all the salt :) I have never had venison, but when I do well with my bank account we have special dinners with ostrich or lamb... yum! Maybe I need to find some hunter friends :)

My bf still teases me about how I attacked him, so I tease him about being slow- lol

Good luck J with M... I just listened to a book called "The men I didn't marry" Its not a deep smart book, but fun... her husband leaves her in the midst of empty nest syndrome and she goes on a mission to find her old loves and with each one learns a little bit more about herself; it is kind of cute....

edit to add> I know people are scared of bananas because they are high on the GI index, but they are supposed to really help with sodium (potatoes even more so, but I usually like to add a bit of salt to that, so that defeats the purpose)--- the high levels of potassium helps draw out the sodium.....

I wish I had hunter friends too!!!    free meat, especially jerky would ROCK

that book sounds a little like High Fidelity, one of my favorite movies ever.   ( :   I will have to look for it.....

AND HEY -- I love bananas -- have one every day of the work week.  Makes a quick snack at break.  Only 9 minutes makes it hard to eat an apple or something, plus I need the cal boost most days in the mid-morning.   ( :    Good tip on the taters thugh.  didn;t know that one.    And also, sodium is my worst enemy.  I used to salt everything, even without tasting sometimes.   I had to retrain my taste buds, but now I use Mrs. Dash in many diff flavors instead.  YUMMY on baked taters.

Embarassed I've never seen the movie, but sounds like the basic idea....

My mom taught me that when you make a sauce or soup or something too salty to drop a peeled potato in it, but then I learned in a nutrition class that it works the same when you eat it- crazy, huh?

I think you just helped me come up with dinner :)

I'm not scared of bananas YUM

SurprisedOMG I'm so stupid. I called and totally chickened out!!! I feel so high school!!! I'm 31 ARGH!!!. It ended with i'll see you at ballet omg I feel like an idiot!!! I don't think I said anthing too stupid. His voice just totally threw me off. I was actually kinda hoping he wouldn't answer!!! I need a few drinks before I call next timeEmbarassed. I have no problem throwing myself at a man when I'm drunk. This is not that kind of situation I don't want to do thatSealed

Good job- you took the first step- and good news is that he answered! Don't feel like an idiot! I bet he was a little thrown off too :) plus throwing yourself at him might scare him-lol

Pat yourself on the back!

High Fidelity is a great book too  ( :

what's dinner?  can I come over?   =P   I loved baked potatoes for dinner.   ( :

I am sure that call went better than you think ---- just not used to talking to boys, mom  ( :

I am going to have to make a log of books.

Dinner, I think will be Salmon or maybe buffalo burgers (with all the talk from earlier) and baked fingerling potatoes and a slew of zucchini, yellow squash, and red onion- also baked. I think :)

My last night smoothie consisted of banana, frozen veges, protein powder and skim milk.  It tasted like coconut.  I think with my new concoctions I will eat healthier.  Since I hate the room in my house called the kitchen with all those things called appliances my magicbullet may save me.  I was eating popcorn and raisins and walnuts with fruit.  My veges consisted of carrots and salad.  I ate leftovers if I could gag them down.  I do not nor have I ever had an ED but I just hate preparing food.  My hubby works evenings so he tries to cook enough on the weekend to leave leftovers but even heating those up is a chore.  I love to do laundry and clean the house but get that cooking stuff away from me!!  I will even go outside and pick up poop and mow the lawn to get out of cooking.....I am patheticInnocent.  I do have one deer steak left so I will eat that when I get home then make a smoothie.  DH has tomorrow off so he will get some real meals in me.  DD usually eats with her BF and his family or they make dinner at the house......tuna helper....our favorite.

I'm feeling slightly less like an idiot. I'm sure the feeling will come back on Saturday when I see him.Embarassed

Puppy - coconut?

Bella - salmon sounds good

I just entered my dinner cals for tonight(haven't eaten them yet) and dessert(fruit crisp yum) and it brings my total to 1000 flat. Whats up with that. I've eaten what i thought was like normal today but I guess not Hmm... Oatmeal apple sandwich pork loin roast w/veggies and fruit crisp....1000! an orange later maybe a big salad w/ dinner i don't know this isn't normal for me

immom, thanks for the good laugh and taking me back a couple of years. I wonder if he has email? Surely he does...that's kind of a more comfortable way to get to know someone. DH & I knew each other in person but not well. We started emailing about a newsletter that we both worked on and then slowly moved into common interests/experiences and more personal stuff. I felt really connected to him before we ever went out on a date. I do remember the first time he called me just to chat, his voice surprised me and my heart was beating a million times a minute. I'm sure I sounded like an idiot because heaven knows my brain wasn't working!

Weight today: 132.7 Happy, happy, joy, joy!

Today weight 154 WOO!!!

Ballet is tomorrow so hmm... I'm only freaking out a little. I shouldn't be. I'v had realationships. I've been married. I'm just out of pratice I guess. 3 out of the 4 men I've dated since I kicked my husband out I meet...well...drunk. The one that I wasn't drunk meeting was a customer at the store I work in. I had one of the other girls give him my # on my day off-but he was crazy

lol I need help

Happy Halloween!

DANG --  I missed weigh in AND you all are kicking my butt.   LOL

I think I was 157something yesterday morning, and I will have no access to a scale until tomorrow late evening, so...... we shall see.   I having so much fun in STL with M, I don;t care a whole lot about the scale right now.    ( :     He seems to like my body ok.   =P     See you Sunday!

Hi everybody,

My weight on Friday was....126.4.....did not last because Saturday it was 129.7...then that again Sunday and this morning it was 131.4.  Monday is such a sucky day for me.  My weight is alway, always, higher.  I was pretty good with food this weekend although I did drink too much Saturday and purged it Sunday AM...I am such a lightweight and that was my last hoorah before I become a g-ma.  I did go to Applebees for DD s birthday, I did good and only ate part of it.  DD turns 18 on Thursday and the babys due date is Wednesday.

I will, will, will drink 64 oz of water today....why is it so freaking hard!!!

Kim

Kim- you make me laugh with your hate for the kitchen :) I don't mind the cooking- I detest cleaning up. I am sure the weight gain is from the drinking and you will be right back after drinking all of your water :)

Is it because you don't like water that you find you have a hard time or just forget about it sometimes?

Immom- hope the park works out :) And those are some creepy eyes you got on there :)

Ewww, immom! I didn't look at your new pic closely. Those ARE creepy eyes! LOL!
