Frijoles Colorados Recipe

Guatemalan style for chili beans. I usually don´t use pork to make it light tough it´s delicious with it. Serve with white rice.

Ingredients
2 cup red beans
2 l water
10 oz tomato paste
1 lb sausages
1 red pepper
1 onion
5 tomatoes
1 teaspoon chili powder
Directions
Boil beans with water in pressure cooker for 90 minutes. Cut vegetables in cubes and place in pan until weell cooked. Mix in tomato paste and add bean broth to desired consistency. Mix with the beans and with sausages cut in slices. Season with chili powder or any desired condiment.
