during the winter, i decided i would eat a lot of soup so i bought a bunch of amys soups and a quart of cashew carrot ginger from imagine.

i ended up not eating a bunch of soups, instead leaving them in my trunk.

so we had a terrible snow, and they froze! all froze.

~I had almond milk in there, and it separated into one part water, one part chunky crap when it unthawed.

~the avocados were ruined.

and now!... i haven't had the guts to try for the processed soups. i've never heard of people freezing almond milk or avocados, but i have seen people freeze soup and beans and what have you...

so... do any of you know if these have expired and gone bad? if they even look normal, i'm not even going to taste it out of fear of food poisoning... so please... lift my anguish... enlighten me ...

My daughter makes a large kettle of soup and we eat what we want and then freeze the rest divided into smaller containers. I should think your soup would be OK unless when you taste it you find it tastes strange. I don't think you would get sick from it. If it had frozen and then thawed and was refrozen that wouldn't be too good.

This should help you:

Also keep in mind, this can alter the taste of the food as well and make it less palatable.
