I have extreme food allergies to most raw fruits. Is there a serious nutritional difference for canned in juice to raw?

Canned fruit is cooked in the canning process.  Can you eat cooked fruit?

yes for what ever reason i can eat any fruit that is cooked. it doesn't taste as well but it beats not eating fruit.

My husband is the same way.  He has an allergic reaction to any fresh fruit (itchy mouth), but can have anything canned or cooked.  Is this what your reaction is too?

Same allergy here. It's actually called Oral Allergy Syndrome. I also have problems with some raw vegetables. Itchy mouth, nose, eyes, ears (Yes my ears itch!!!) and I've even lost my voice for a few hours after eating watermelon.

You should be able to eat things cooked, canned, pickled, or store bought juices (since they are processed).

I haven't tried dried fruits, but I think they are supposed to be okay. I'm actually curious about fruit in yogurt and I have some at home in the fridge that I'm planning on trying one of these days to see if I have a reaction.

yes most symptoms are like this the exceptions are fruit with pits ,these cause my throat to close causing breathing difficulty. I can eat all fruit cooked and all juices except apple or apple based they cause breathing problems and ulcer like  burning and pain in my stomach. some dried fruits also cause theseextreme symptoms. Some times this can be a big pain !
