To much fruit?
Basically, I eat about 2 peices of fruit, a 1/4 cup of raisins, and 6 oz of orange juice a day. My sugar level is high (usually about 100-150 grams) but almost all of it is from the fruit, and 2 teaspoons of honey (~10g).
Is it okay to go have alot of sugar, as long as it is natural?
oh my goodness I have more fruit than that for breakfast! not to mention snacks - you are fine!
Good- I usually have more than the servings required- usually 3 or 4 cups!
At least I am getting my vitamins^-^
It's mainly fructose and other disaccharachides, which ate better than refined sugar (sucrose), that you are eating sugar and their nutritional value i.e. all the vitamins they contain completely outweigh any negatives the sugar could have.
I think it's fine -- and like hannahlouise ^^ said -- you are getting so much more than just the sugar
Unless you have a problem with diabetes or hypoglycemia you should be fine. You might want to add some veggies in for variety and to increase your range of nutrients but definitely enjoy your fruit.
I normally eat about 6 servings of fruit a day and my sugar levels are fine :)
Sugar found in fruit is much better for you than sugar found in artificially made food so eat as much of it as you want.
