i usually do fruit and yogurt (plain, vanilla, strawberry... any flavor works). sometimes i throw some fruit juice in there for a bit of a different flavor.

you guys are amazing...!! i love this website!!
If you do a search of Smoothies in the forums, I posted a pile of links about a month ago with over 1,000 smoothie recipes.
yup, i was looking for ix's post to flag in here... but i'm actually wandering off to play computer games, so you'll have to fend for yourselves.

just remember- BANANAS! Smoothies have BANANAS!
The secret is NUTMEG!

1 banana
5 strawberries (or a handful of blueberries or raspberries)
1/2 cup orange juice
1 pot of fruit yoghurt
a squeeze of honey
a sprinkling of freshly ground nutmeg

I don't use milk in my smoothies, but you can if you want to...

the honey and the nutmeg are the key though -

Then serve over crushed ice with another sprinkling of nutmeg on top!
i've been obsessed with smoothies lately, and they have helped me boost my nutrition grade from B to A.  I've found that the best smoothies are made with berries.  I tried watermelon and pineapple, and neither one was very good. So now I'm sticking to a combination of strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries.  I think that the key is to have some of the fruit frozen (as long as your blender can handle it). Like right now, I have fresh strawberries in the firdge, and the rest of the berries are frozen.

Here's my smoothie from today:

8 med strawberries, ~1 cup milk, 25 blueberries, 10 raspberries, and a few ice cubes.  If I'm making it after a workout, I add a half a scoop of strawberry-flavored whey protein.
I think this was the post saroful was looking for...

the link for the 1000 smoothies is a few posts into it.  yum :-)
thanks, syd! hey, now that the Rose Festival's over, can it stop raining?
Mine don't include ice. One of my favorites is

1 whole banana

1 cup (240ml) of skim milk

1 scoop of protein poweder (vanilla is best with bananas)

use a blender and it comes out so yummy!

For me it is so filling, that is both a small meal and a post workout treat!
