It all started 3 weeks ago, I had my TTOM and when I weighted my self I had only lost .4 lbs, it was fine, nothing I wasn’t used to or prepared for, so the next week came and when I weighted myself I had lost 2 lbs, the **** hit the fan, I was so confuse and mad, my weight should have been 257 not 259 (I have OCD) that means all my hard work and commitment was for nothing, I was instantly depress (I have clinical depression), that’s when everything when out of control, it started when I decided not to exercise that week so I could take a break, my knees were killing me, and I could also track my weight daily.
Everything was fine, I was loosing .6 lbs daily, on Wednesday it was only a .2 cause I eat greasy food that day and on Thursday the same thing, then my depression really hit me, I was sleeping all the time and not doing anything and on Friday I weighted 155.8, Finally I was the right weight, You would think it helped but no somehow it was worst, it started one night with a sandwich, then my mom made a family gathering and I ate a lot and had flan, I lost only 1.4 lbs that week but I didn’t let it get me down.
This week everything has been a mess, I’m always hungry but mentally hungry not physically, its never enough food, the other day I made spaghetti for my mom and after watching her eat I had a bowl (BIG) with some parmesan romano cheese, it was disgusting but I really didn’t care I needed to stuff my face, I was sick the rest of the night and it just hasn’t stop, I have this need to eat, just eat anything don’t care what, I’m so desperately hungry and what I eat its never enough when before it was.
I’m so scare that this thing will cause me my diet, I’m also worried I might not be eating enough, I have an 850 cals daily deficit plus 750 cals weekly exercise deficit, I’m eating 1500 cals daily and my burn meter is 2350 on sedentary, but I’m feeling very faint and weak sometime, I honestly don’t know what to do and eating more is not an option with my OCD. If I gain even 1 lb it would depress me to the point I would stop the diet.
Well, first of all, a 1.4 pound loss for a week is great. Healthy weight loss is 1-2 pounds a week. Maybe you are mentally hungry because your body feels deprived of food it's used to eating. Do you allow yourself a treat a couple times a week? Try to relax though, this week may seem like a mess, but it will pass. Tomorrow is another day, and it's never too late to start fresh. I know this may seem scary, but if you're feeling weak you may need more food, or you may just need more of the RIGHT food. What does your diet consist of?
well I'm eating pretty much the same thing as before only in moderation, i think part of my problem is that i raised the amount of exercise while lowering the amount of calories but before the change i was losing 2 lb weekly, i think i am eating too little cause we can count our burn lost but can anyone count our metabolism lost? That's why i decided to go back to 10m 5 days medium HIIT instead of my current 20m 3 day high HIIT.
completely random but what is TTOM?
Hi, 10 minutes a day is nothing. Because you are in the mid 200's you can lose a lot of weight in the beginining of your weightloss journey. You've got to work out for at least 1 hour 4-5 days a week. You want results you've got to work for it. Same thing with studying, I mean your not gonna get an A on your test if you study for ten minutes (I'm speaking on behalf of normal people not geniuses). but maybe I misread how much you actually excercise.
You've got to eat, if you don't eat enough food you won't lose weight. You've got to eat every 4 hours and you have to eat within 1 hour of waking up.
If you want to eat something, than eat it, but eat a tiny bit of it to satisfy your urge and than move on to something more healthy. The key is to eat things that'll make you full faster. Whole wheat/grain, veg and fruit. Drink 1 to 2 litres of water everyday, but you know water can make you feel bloated.
You also have to have something to motivate you, like a pair of jeans you want to fit into, so when you want to eat something fatty you'll just think about those jeans and put those CHIps, or mac and cheese or pop down.
Losing like 1-2 pounds of week is healthy and normal for someone who is working hard at their diet, but everyone knows you lose a lot of weight in the begining of your diet, so i think if you change some things your going to lose way more. And i hope you excercise between meals, because that helps too.
Foods to stay away from while on diet. Candy, Pop, Mac n Cheese, bagel, white bread, white pasta, chocolate, fatty salad dressings. JUICE,
If you want juice you can have no more than 250 ml juice a day max girl. If you want milk, make sure it's no more than 1% skim milk and no more than a cup and you should drink it after working out because it's gonna help build muscle and you can totally burn muscle during cardio, if you want.
If you eat meat, stick to Chicken (baked, boiled, roasted or bbq) or Fish (same as chicken) and no bigger than the size of the palm of your hand.
They also say that 2/3 of your plate for lunch and dinner should consist of veg, but you know that's not bad, you can stirfry veg with some garlic and olive oil and it taste real good.
NO Fast food while on diet. Just make sure you are eating so that you don't get so hungry that it makes you go crazy you eat whatever you see. A hamburger (small one) Is like 450 calories. Beef has a lot of fat in it, the freakin bun is like 200 calories and than you have like condiments on it and calories galore there. Unless it's just mustard but who likes to eat a mustard only hamburger.
Maybe I'm rambling and sound like a retard. But you know I've been telling myself this for 4 months. The world does not owe me anything and If i want something I have to get up and go get it.
Javagirl: If you're going to use "have" and "you've got to" then at least think a little. There is no bad food, there are only bad diets. The OP can eat ANY kind of food they want as long as they keep to their calorie goal for the day, and eat enough calories (as in, not below 1200 for an adult female or below 1500 for a female under 21).

No, 10 minutes of HIIT (high intensity interval training) is actually a totally reasonable amount of exercise. Because of the high intensity, the body can't really handle more than 15-20 minutes of HIIT - which is equivalent to an hour or so of steady state cardio.
Yeah that's true about HIIT you can only do short sessions (15-20min) coz of the high intensity. Plus it's great for boosting your metabolism & apparently burns fat quicker than steady state cardio (they did a study on it) I find it hard to motivate myself to do HIIT though coz it's so intense I feel like I'm going to be sick.
All my suggestions are merely my suggestions. The title of Post for this is I'm So Frustrated. That means she's not happy with how her weightloss journey is going so far. If 10 minutes was all it took to lose weight than everyone would be doing that, but no it does not take 10 minutes a day to do high intensity work outs to lose the weight you want to lose. And that kind of excercise is making her feel like crap so whats the point of doing it, 1 hour of cardio would be so much better because she would be pacing herself and allowing her body to get used to that kind of working out. I'm sorry it's the truth.
And I said eat food, I never said don't eat a lot of food. And if you eat smaller portions of the things you want like half a hamburger that's not gonna make you full. Wouldn't it be easier to eat a plate full of healthy things that will guarantee fullness.
I'll use any words I please, I've lost 24 pounds in 4 months, being healthy and working hard and I'm gonna keep this up forever.
I don't like people who are satisfied with only 10% of what can actually be done. LOL Am I being mean or what!!!
This is such a great site! It is unfortunate that occsionally someone literally attacks a poster for a comment. Gentle works better than harsh, encouragement works better than disparagement! We are all on the same side, and I think it would be great if when posts come up where the person may be expecting too much too soon, we encourage them and "suggest" that their expectations might be too high! Very few people here are experts and let's give them a break!
Thank you everyone for all your comment and support, I do agree I got kind of greedy and desperate and tried too much too fast, I am going back to the 10 m daily cause not only does it kick my metabolism but give me energy for the day that no depression pill gives me and I wont raise the amount I do until I truly need it.

Good for you! and Good luck!
Igottapi4, you need to speak with your doctor, i'm not sure your medications are correct for you. I'm a doctor of pharmacy and it sounds like something's a miss with your meds. You can contact me directly if you'd like. Other than that, keep working on it, and you'll get there. I had to stop weighing myself everyday, because you can drink a glass of water and put back on that .4lbs, so i do it once a week. You'll get there. Ok i need to walk my pup now. ;)
