I have been working out daily and eating healthy, I've cut my calorie intake in half and I'm drinking only water.  A week of this and I have gained almost 4 pounds!!! What am I doing wrong?? How can I achieve the results I want??? I'm very frustrated and discouraged. Please share your stories and words of advice with me...

Before I can advise you I need to know some things...   how tall are you?  what do you weigh?  how many calories are you eating....  what do you mean by workout?
I'm 5'4" and weigh 146... well now 149.5. I'm eating between 1,000-1,250 calories a day.

I workout by warming up on either a stationary bike or elliptical for 10-15 minutes, doing about ten minutes of situps, pushups and jumping jacks, I run half a mile and walk a half mile and about 20-30 minutes of weight training.
Leslie,  You need to use the tools in this site and get the right calorie amount for your size.  You are eating too little....yes you read that right you are eating to little.

It takes at least 1200 calories a day to keep your organs working and your blood pumping.  If your body does not get that it could go into what is known as starvation mode which is an instinctual response to eating to little where the body holds on to the fat to make sure it can react in an emergency.

Eating to little is a common mistake and one that leads many of us to dropping out of diets.

This is hard to believe but true.....the tools on this site are awesome use them.
