Frustrated...

Quote  |  Reply

I'm 5'0" and weigh about 135lbs. Give or take half a pound. The lowest I've been able to get to since I've had children is 129.5 and the 5lbs or so that I've gained back is refusing to budge. Here's a quick backround. I recently found out I have a sleeping disorder... Which I knew all along, but to get it proven as a kid is impossible. They said I have "Hypersomnia" which means they have no idea of why I am so tired all the time and can sleep upwards of 18hrs in a 24hr day. I've been like this all my life, but now I'm on a medication called Provigil for it. It's a metabolism booster and I STILL have not lost weight. My goal is 115-120lbs. I'm not concerned with what charts say. I've had Dr's tell me I "should be" 100lbs. I say I look super gross at 110 or below. Anywho... I watch my caloric intake, I make sure to not eat foods high in fat, I eat pretty healthy overall. Yet... I'm stuck. I have a pretty elaborate excel spread sheet counting calories, cal. from fat, total fat grams, total carbs, dietary fiber, soluble fiber, sugars, and protein. I've shown it to people that are chronic dieters and said they can't believe I haven't lost anything. I'm not super active, but I do have 2 children. A 1yr old son and a 6yr old daughter. The 6yr old is ADHD, but we maintain it without meds. I do the majority of the house work indoors. But I do sit at a desk at work. I do try and get up from my desk to walk for at least 1/2hr a day.

Do you see what I might be doing wrong? I lost 15lbs by doing this, but I am having trouble getting the rest off.

Thanks,

Aubrey
