So, I felt like I had a good week this past week. I ate alot of vegetables and not many sweet. I went to the gym and did alot of weight training and was active and walking around at work. I ate less food and smaller portion sizes then I normally do.
I didnt weigh myself all week until today...I thought I was going to be very happy with what the scale had to say, but instead I was very upset! I had gained...What do I do?????
I suggest you post this int he weight loss thread. People here actually want to gain! But..I'd guess a slight increase in muscle mass or you're eating the wrong types of food. also depends on what time you got on the scales. You could have lots of water retention hanging around.
remember, especially considering you did a lot of weight training, muscle weighs a lot more than fat does, so weighing yourself isn't always accurate!!
I weigh myself every day. This past week I started a new workout regimen that has absolutely kicked my ass. My muscles are sore, and although my calorie intake was great and I got lots of excercise, I absolutely expected to see a gain and would have been shocked to see a loss. Muscles that are repairing themselves hold a lot of water. If you've been weight training, especially if you just started, your muscles need to repair themselves. They'll let go of the water when they're ready to.
