Frying Eggs/Egg White's with Water? (instead of oil)
Does anybody do this?
I have a non-stick pan, but whenever i fry my eggs, (w/out oil) the bottom of my eggs/egg whites always come out hard as rocks.
Thus iv considered adding some water into the pan, with hopes of finally getting "yolky" sunny side up fluffy eggs xD

Yeah, except it's not frying. It's basting, and I do it all the time. It's delish!
how much water do you put on the pan?
Also, do you add the water RIGHT before you add the egg?
I tried it once, but my water evaporated before the egg "Got on"

If you put about an inch of water in the pan, and don't let it boil, but add the egg (carefully) when the water gets plenty hot, then gently slosh the water over the yolk until cooked, you will have....a poached egg! Excellent and my favorite way (aside from soft boiled).
Egg whites will get leathery if cooked over heat that is too high. I'm going to try the water method. I like poached eggs.
