5ft 2in girls--what's your goal weight?
I'm just wondering what your goals are.....I am 5 ft 2 in as well (medium build, 22 years old, female) with a goal of 120 lbs calculated by CC. I haven't been that weight since I was 15.
I first started out on here at 140-142ish about a month ago, a 10lb gain over 3 months from the 130-132 weight that I maintained without calorie counting for probably 6 years. After gaining that 10lb (I went into depression when my new boyfriend finished his work project and moved back home 3 provinces away) I luckily stumbled on this site and am determined to embrace a healthier food lifestyle.
I can't believe the difference in how I feel, even after only 4 lbs (so its been rather slow for me at about a pound per week)....I can't believe how much my sugar cravings have lessened. I can't believe how much food I can actually eat and STILL lose weight.....and its taking a while, but I'm making much better choices now. I had always thought that you needed to practically starve and exercise a lot to lose weight--so not true!!!
CC is just the greatest help too! I love the input from other members and the tracking tools. Anyways, sorry for the huge story, this is my very first post so I guess I had a lot to say....and I apologize for putting it on your post, luvmyboy.
I'd love to hear from other 5ft 2in people and their goal/maintenance weight so I know what I am heading for and what is achievable for me!

I am 5' 2" 35 (soon to be 36 on Sat.
) and am at 129 right now. I started with CC in Jan. at 152lbs and today I weighed in at 129.4lbs. I have three children (13, 8 & 6) and just could not seem to get those extra pounds off. My goal right now is 125lbs which isnt far off.
I eat between 1200 / 1600 a day and started weight / strength training. I don't do much cardio other than walking right now. Weight training has been the key to my weight loss. I am trying to tone up those dreaded arms (I really do not want to flap in the wind..
) and the butt / thighs.
I started on Calorie count at 117 My goal was to maintain, but then I started working out and gained 13-15 pounds in 2 months, which threw me off, because I started to bloat and get discouraged but my ultimate goal is to lose 15 pounds of body fat while retaining all the nice muscle I have built. I was in starvation mode prior to January which is when I started working out and signed on here. I was eating less than 700 cals a day and now I am maintaining 1200-1300 a day which has been hard for me. It has been 4 months and all I see is muscle gain and no loss, but Im hopeful.
I want to be at 115 by mid august.:)

I'm 34, have two girls (3 & 10mths) and my goal is 147lbs. I know that seems high to most- but I've haven't been that weight since I was about 12!! I've been on a diet most of my life (sent to a dietician aged 7 at 140lbs!) and at my highest was 245lbs. I did get down to 154lbs and maintained for years, then I met my Hubby & had kids so here I am again! Since 7th January I've lost 19lbs and am now 167lbs. I'll be very happy to get that low!!

I'm 5'2 at 152 lbs. My ideal weight is 120-125. I weighed that and still looked healthy. My bigggest problem is Starbucks. I work there and I am addicted to caffeine (white mochas). Most of my calories are taken in my beverage consumptionl. My motivation is my identical twin sister who weights 15 lbs less and is continuing to lose weight. I'm choosing to do it in a safe way, by dieting and exercise.
I am 5'3" or 5'2" depending on when I measure myself, large frame, and my goal weight is 150 down from 200. I know everyone will say that's still overweight, but I am meant to be heavy and I exercise a lot.
Not actually dieting at the moment. I need the energy for other stuff.

Sounds like you are in great shape. It's nice that you are taking care of yourself at age 51. There are alot of people who do not.

i started at 159 pounds, im currently 131 pounds, and my goal weight is 115 pounds,
im going for the whole BMI thing, i was less than a point away from obese, and i want to get to the perfect BMI which im told is 21, so thats what im going for,
even though i've sort of plateaued at the moment :(

Hi all. I am an inch short of 5'2, have two sons 28 and 25, and am right smack in the middle of menopause.
Which is why I pounced on this sight. I have been watching the scales go up and my clothes are fitting a bit snug lately. This has not made me very happy, as I have not changed my eating habits (I eat pretty healthy!) and although I don't get to the gym as much as I would like to, I try to go at least 1-2 times a week. After working out for the past 14 years or so, I have felt the reduced gym time has affected the muscles too.
So... I weigh 122 and my goal is 118. This has been the weight I have always felt best at since before I was married. Yes, that was many moons ago. Am I being unrealistic? I was down to 112 once upon a time, (after the birth of my second child), but people said I looked ill and I did feel tired all the time.
4 lbs doesn't seem all that much...but Ive been CC for about 2 weeks now and have not had any change...at least my weight hasn't gone up!!!

I have a LONG weight to go, but I started this at 202...still can't beleive it got THAT bad, and am not 184. I want to get to 135...that is where my BMI says is healthy...I would love to get to 125, but we will see....haven't been there since high school...I looked good at 135...my body has changed a bit with 3 kids and a few years (will be 38 in a couple of weeks) so, we shall see...
Two more pounds until my goal weight of 125, but I think I am going to try for a nother 5 lbs, or at least to tone up more.

I'm eating 1200-1300 calories and working out 6 days a week. I do about an hour of cardio and 30 minutes of weights/toning.

Right now I am at 175/180 (I have not stepped on a scale in a while). My goal is 145 because I felt good when I was at 145 and it is a goal that isn't out of arms reach. Once I meet the 145 goal, I would like to get down somewhere in the 130's. One step at a time!
I am with u carolinerr...i am starting fresh this year too. I actually posted on this board back in May and weighed 119...hard to believe considering i am now at 132...why do i keep doing this to myself...i lose it, gain it, lose it, gain it...I am a yo-yo dieter with terrible binging habits. I crave sweets at night and cave often. I want to get down to 125...It's only 7 lbs, but seems like so many...my pants are so tight I cant breathe and i feel awful. Its a lot harder to work out and i feel everything bounce as I do...i just don't feel as good as i did smaller. Trouble is no one i know thought i looked good when i was down that low. I actually weighed about 115 at one time and everyone was getting concerned about me not eating...they thought i looked sick. i liked it...they did not. So long story short...I really want to get down in the 120's and pray i can find the motivation to do it. I have been going thru a lot in my personal life and that is definately causing me to eat for emotional reasons. I know it...but do it anyhow, if finally caught up with me.

I'm between 5'2 and 5'3. I'm currently about 190. I was 125 at my smallest but that was a little too small for me (I'm all hips and chest). I want to get down to 130-140. I was 140 before having children and was pretty happy there.
