Hello everyone!!!

I am 5'6" and currently weigh 144. My starting weight was 160 and my goal weight is 135, maybe 130. I want to make sure that I tone up.  You can be skinny and not look good if your not toned.

Sorry, no pics yet, but I'll get them soon.

I'm at or just above the 5'7" mark.  I am currently at 145 and am getting frustrated at trying to loss the last few pounds.

My highest weight was during my first pregancy when I broke the 200 mark.  After she was born (now 7) I was 180, I got down to 150 when I got pregnant with my twins (now 4).  I only gained 20 lbs during that pregnancy, but was over 50 inches around.  My stretch marks got stretch marks.

I would like to get down to 130-135, and around a sz 7.  The biggest issue I have is my tummy, my muscles got split and so stretched out that the more I lose the worse it looks.  I'm only 29 and my stomach is starting to look like I'm 90.

Has anyone else had this problem?  I don't want to save up the $7000 to get a tummy tuck but I wonder if that's the only way to get it to look better.

HI! I am also 5'6ish and about 150.

I think I have a medium frame, it's definitly not small.

My highest weight was about 165, but I went to a military boarding school and quickly lost it.

My lowest weight ever was around 130. I looked malnourished and probably was because the boarding school was in INdia, lol.

I would love to be a very toned 140. The weight I think isn't too hard to lose but the discipline of working out is what's hard for me.

Does anybody do the Curves program? I just started and love it because it's nothing like I've ever done before.

I always enjoy being pushed to work out, which again is why I lost so much weight at the boarding school.

At Curves, I don't need to be pushed because it's so systematic. Do't get me wrong- I love and need change al the time, but system works better for me I think.

Now all i need to do is push myself to get over to Curves ritously, haha.

Just two years ago I was a size 4 with a body fat count of just 14%, and I was unsatisified with my body then. It just shows you how hard it is to be satisfied with what you have.

For the past year, maybe year and a half I have been sooo lazy. I just hope I don't fall through this time. I really want to to be fit and healthy and in good shape constantly, non of this fluctuating...

Ahh, if only...

Hi,

I'm fairly new here and 5'7", currently hoping to lose at least 20 lbs since having a baby in April. Ideally I would like to get back to my pre-marriage weight of 120-125, but for now am setting my goal at my pre-pregnancy weight of 130-135.

Calorie coach says I can do this by mid-December based on my current settings so I hope it is right! If not by next summer at the latest.

I go to the gym about 3-4 times a week in the evenings usually. The rest of the time I burn my energy by nursing, caring for my five month old and my three year old sons as a sahm.

I hope to learn more from all of you and how you are keeping the weight off or losing it!

Hello im 5'7 152 pounds I've lost 13 so far. And I cannot get motivated!

My email is Lizzlovescheese@gmail.com

I just wanna be all skinny! hehe'

Hi,

I'm not sure about the whole finger around the wrist thing. My thumb overlaps to the half-way point of my middle finger, does that mean I'm small framed? It seems like a big calorie difference between small and medium, but maybe thats one (of several!) reasons why I'm having trouble losing weight, because I'm going by the medium framed guidelines. Perhaps I should set my goal somewhere in between??

This is a cool site....................

Count me in!  I just joined.  I am 5'6 and 120 pounds.  The finger around the wrist things dosen't work too well for me, because I can tell that I am small framed, but my fingers do not overlap.  However, I have tried a method where you measure the wrist, and it concludes that I am very small framed.  That explains why I have to have bracelets taken in at least an inch.  My goal weight is 115.  I did weigh that, but gained a few months ago, and haven't seemed to be able to lose it.  I think it is a problem with motivation, which is why I'm on this site.  Looking forward to making friends here and having good, motivating discussion!

hi im 20 yrs old around 134 and have been dying to lose about 10 lbs, but no matter what i do i cant drop below 130

ive always been very active --cross country and track in h.s.-- i was always about 140 then

i just want to be skinny a lose inches in my butt and thighs

i work about every other day, and burn about 500 calories, i think my diet is the problem, im good all day until i get home and then i just cant stop snaking.

im doing the low-carb thing...kind of..gave up bread but not all fruit

im just looking for suggestions from anyone so i can lose the stubborn 10 lbs!!

I'm 22, 5'7 127 pounds and 20% bodyfat.

I'm very athletic and would finally like to look that way too....

I run about 40K a week and start training for my first half marathon soon. I would like to get down to 121 pounds again, My lowest weight was 112 but that was waaaaaaaay too thin, it was a stressful period where I couldnt find the time to take care of myself.

My biggest goal is to get down to about 18% bodyfat which is acceptable for someone who works out as much as I do..... keep your fingers crossed for me.

5'7 and 116 :D Goal weight was 115, so I am nearly there, but possibly will go for 112 I still don't think I'll look right at 115.

helloo

i am 5'7.5 and 142 hoping to get down to 135 by feb.

I'm 5'7'' (a touch under) an used to model when I weighed about 112.  At college I went through a lot and gained up to 130.  I started working it off and my goal is to get down to 115 and get back into modeling.  Its been so tough for me loosing weight.  I only eat about 1200 calories a day sometimes less and run five times a week, five miles a day.  Haven't had much of results so far, but we'll see over time if that changes.   Right now I'm 125 and a size 2.

i'm about 5'6.5", medium frame and 23 years old.

i weighed about 158 a few months ago-my highest weight ever- and have come down to 147.

i'm not sure what my goal is, i havent weighed less than 140 since i was 12 or 13...but right now im aiming for 130 i guess. I would like to look and feel slender for once in my life!

I'm somewhere between 5'6" and 5'7" and have a large frame.

My start weight was 205lbs. on May 9th.

I'm currently at 198 lbs.

My goal is to be 145 for my wedding on June 20, 2009.

I started gaining weight my sophomore year of college and haven't stopped.  I look forward to having the energy and shopping options that I had back in my size 8 days :)

I'm sorry to say, but some of these posts are pretty alarming. I will not name names, but to have girls who are in their teens/early 20s who are 5'6 - 5'7 saying that they want to get down to under 115-120 lbs is scary.

One girl in that category mentioned "I'm being healthy, why can't I lose weight?"

You answered your own question, your body is not losing any more weight because it can't spare anymore body fat... it is trying to be healthy!

I'm not sure where this thread went wrong but more often than not in the posts within the last few pages, are girls who are already (some severely) underweight talking about how they want to lose 2 lbs, 5 lbs, etc.

When young girls are saying "I am at 116 right now but I like my body better at 114" It's a little scary. This is not a website to fuel eating disorders, it is a site where people can go to become healthy - and in turn look and feel better.

yep, i'm 5'6'' and i have a small frame. my wrists are tiny and im actually trying to put on a bit of weight but i want to do it properly cos i don't want to lose my shape or lose the plot and start eating too much and get all fat...

I'm 5' 6", weigh 126-128 these days, I'm 47, have a small frame, small chest, and I do not look underweight. I would like to get down to 123 or so. When you weigh this amount, 5 pounds makes a big difference. Sometimes I feel some criticism here, because of all the comments about the dangers of weighing too little. But I need good motivation to lose these last few pounds. I have been as high as 145 and as low as 115, and I can say that my best weight is around 123, provided I am exercising 2-3 times a week and don't let myself get "skinny fat". For those of you that have similar stats, how much do you believe you burn in a day? What calorie count do you aim for??

I'm 5' 7", 22 years old, medium frame, currently 170 lbs, goal 155 lbs

I'm almost 5'7" and weight about 146lbs right now, but my goal is about 140 or so.  I've lost 36lbs so far.  :)
