5ft2, 32yr female, aim to lose 22lb
Hi
Im wondering if anyone else would like to team up as my buddy, to share exercise ideas and keep a positive attitude towards better health and losing weight?
Im short... weigh 140lb and would like to get down to a healthy 118lb. I think this is a realistic goal and will stick to CC's suggested goal date of 09/20/2009. My current BMI is 25, just above the over-weight range, so looking forward to seeing that change to the healthy range.
I plan to walk 6 days a week, cycle on my exercise bike for 30 minutes 3-5 times a week and do free weights 3-5 times a week to tone my flab
, with sunday being my rest day/family day. My suggested calorie intake is 1400.
So thats the low-down on me, I shall be starting with enthusiasm tomorrow, monday the 20th.

Yes I have, but its changed after I was given some advice on tweaking it.
Im now doing free weights 3 times a week, it works a out to 45 minutes. On those days Im going for a half hour walk as well. then the other days Im cycling for 30 minutes, as interval training or going for an hours walk.
Im really enjoying it, feel energised and know its a plan I will stick to.

You and I are very similar in height and weight except I am 42.
I have been going to the gym 6 days per week doing various classes and walking my dog for 40 min everyday.
I lost 3lbs last week from doing classes, I use to be very lazy but now I cant stop my energy levels are so high. I would love to team up, anything to loose weight, I see your very active as well keep going.

That sounds great! 3lb loss, wow, keep it up! Im losing a slow steady 1lb a week, but anything is better than nothing and maybe if its slow it will stay off....

A pound a week is great thats 52 lbs per year. Mine has come off that quick because I havent diet in years, I just ate what I wanted, not good stuff thou.
I started trying for a baby and because of the stress I started binging and piled on a stone, I would be happy as long as I lose something.
I weigh this morning and lost another 2lbs. I have been in the gym everyday for the last 3 weeks I am exhausted so I am taking 2 days off. Keep up the good work and try to resist temptation .
