fun, ACTIVE activities? need suggestions!

Does anyone know of any more active date/hangout type activities that can be done in the evening with 2 people. We can go outside but it will be dark. There's a town nearby with bowling, rock climbing, streets to walk etc but that's gotten kind of boring. I don't want to sit in the movie theatre for 2 hours because that's what I do at home! any ideas? No, I don't have a bike... helpz?

Well, your late night walks might be getting better soon. I like to walk around little cities and check out their Christmas lights. There's a town 20 minutes away that drapes their Main Street buildings in lights. Gorgeous!

Let's see....some of these are only slightly active but it's better than zoning out in front of the tube. Lot's of fun and if you don't add extra snacks, you could be better off.

• Roller skating
• Shoot pool
• Arcade games
• Air hockey
• Dancing (80's music and ballroom dancing is still out there!)
• Window shopping at the mall
• Racketball
• Comedy club (they say laughing is good for your waistline)

That's all I can really think of besides sitting in a coffee shop or bar ar night.. especially this time of year.

lazer tag.  it's active, plus you'll see how they deal under pressure, if you can work as a team, how competive this person is, and see how much fun they can have.  i frikin love laser tag. 

I don't know if you have a wooded area anywhere around, but some friends and I recently had a lot of "active" fun by raking up an epic proportion of leaves (think 4-5 ft tall, 4-g long, 3ft wide) and then jumping off of something high on to them. We used a trampoline mostly, but there have been times before that we have just used the deck. It's a lot more fun with the trampoline!

Whoever said playing in the leaves is just for kids is missing out!  I'm a 19 year old woman and I had a blast.

I play squash. Window shopping in downtown areas is fun... what about cycling? In my area they offer bikes for rent for cycling winery tours.

Also,

If you're into photography, take your camera on a walk and start on a new photo series or just take some great, fresh new pics of yourselves.

hiking, roller blading, mountain biking, canoeing/kayaking... possibilities are endless.
You probably have all these things near you but sometimes you have to search for them.
