Hello, I started using Calorie Count in Jan. I have lost 4 pounds and have been stuck since. I am fustrated because now that I have made a little progress things seem to be falling apart. I Have found out that exercising makes me feel good and have more energy, now I have a hard time working out due to my work schedule. I work 8-430 and 5-9pm M-F and sometimes on the weekend. I thought about getting up early to work out but I am physically and mentally exhausted. I do still work out on the weekend if I get a chance. My second fustration is my second job is so fast paced that I do not get a chance to eat until I get home. I usually get home and sometimes its hard for me not to overeat because I don't realize how hungry I am until I get done. I have also tried to pack food to take with me and that lasted about 2 days because I am so tired when I get home. ANy suggestions????????

If your work is as fast paced as you say, then maybe you don't need to work out as much outside of that. What do you do? I know when I was waitressing, I ran my butt off every day and realized that I didn't need to be doing cardio in addition to that. I still kept losing weight due to being so ridiculously busy at work.
Furthermore, I suggest that no matter how busy your day is, take just 30 seconds to scarf something down along with a chug of water. We had a rule at work that we could only eat on our breaks, but come on - when you work eight to nine hours, your body needs more fuel than just during one break.
I would sneak an oatmeal to go bar or a bag of trailmix into the back with me and eat when the boss wasn't around. To heck with his rules; my body was starving!
I also know that when I'm SO hungry that I know I'm going to eat too much too quickly, I start with 500 mls of water, and try to put the fork down between bites. Your stomach has actually shrunken in size after not eating for so long, so it should take less to fill you up. Just make sure it's also nutritious!

Thanks for the advice. I work delivering tickets for a concert. I spend most of my time zooming around and with little running around. I don't know where the streets are so when I'm in the car I am looking at a map for my next destination. I get paid by each delivery so the more I deliver the more I get paid. I will have to take snacks with me and actually try to eat them. Thanks for the advice about drinking water before I eat. I will have to try that one.
Buy a few Luna Bars to see if you like them. If you do, carry them with you in the car with plenty of water.
You need to spread your calories out over the course of the day so you won't end up eating too much at one sitting for supper.
Good Luck!

I'm in the same position as you...4 lbs down since Jan 2, and I've been really trying. I admit, i could be making healthier choices, but my calories have been in line. I am trying more water and keep doing it, eventually it will catch up...Also I figure at least I've lost, so that's good.
Hang in there...i'm trying to.

I had the same thing happen, lost 4 pounds then nothing for over a week. I thought I was doing well with 1200 calories a day and working out everyother day. I was WRONG! I think I actually put my body into "starvation" mode and it refused to let me drop any more weight. I upped my calories to 1400 and started losing weight again. If this is the case for you, you probably just need to eat more often, spread out your calories over the whole day. Every body is different, so you may have to experiment with different scenarios. Good luck!
