Fuze
I went shopping the other day for drink that didn't have a lot of calories and a drink that was low sodium/low sugar. Low and behold, I have found a drink that is good and met my needs without the extra calories and "BAD" stuff... The FUZE drinks that are 5 and 10 calories per serving are AWESOME!!! I have not tried the others that have 90 or 100 calories per serving, but the 5/10 calories are awesome!!! I highly recommend...
Has anyone else tried these drinks; if so, what are your feelings on them??? Cannot wait to hear from you!! :-)

They're my favorite drink... Hard to find though...
Fuze strawberry banana's not bad but I still prefer the taste of Naked juice smoothies. Naked's just taste more like real juice! My favourite is Naked's Well Being smoothie.
my boyfriend drinks these all the time. he uses them instead of an energy drink. if ya like em, and can afford em, i say drink up. i've never tried one tho.
I love FUZE! Pretty sure that I have tried all the flavors! These particular low calorie drinks are called Fuze Slenderize. My favorite flavor is Raspberry/Blueberry. Yay
I stock up on them when the grocery store has them five for a dollar...love the one in the white bottle..orange tea?? Something like that.
Wonderful! I am loving the Raspberry Slenderize one. They are great!!!
5 for a $1? They're $1.69 a piece over here lol
I have only tried the full cal versions, most have been pretty tasty (who would have thought that milk could be used in a soft drink?!) BUT the full calorie version have no HFCS instead they use crystallized fructose. When I first read this my thought was cool but since then I have found out that the problem with HFCS is the HF aka High Fructose.
It's fructose that is treated like a fat in high concentrations. Fructose does not go in to the blood stream but is processed by the liver, if there is a lot of fructose at one time it turns in to fat, triglycerides, that are linked with heart disease.
So the full calorie Fuze; no or not much worse then a coke but for sure no better.

Love these!!! They taste so great I can convince myself it is a treat and the vitamins help me through the afternoon. And only like 10-20 cals for the whole bottle. Sam's club has the slenderize ones for 12 for $10.
When they're on sale ($1 apiece is pretty much the lowest they go) I'll buy them instead of diet pop. I'm willing to trade 10 calories for antioxidants.
(Had a bad experience with an improperly sealed Banana colada one but I really like all the others I've had.)

That is too cheap..I think it is 5 for $4
I was hooked on Vitamin Water, until I realized its not that great for you. I hope these are a little more nutritous. I dont know where to buy them at, but Id like to give them a try.
Awmsbailey,
I buy my FUZE at the local grocery store by the energy drinks. If not, they also mentioned SAMS on this site. Good luck and enjoy!

Is it an energy drink.
There was a really god sale going on at my grocery store but my mom in her annoyingly high pitched angry voice (even though she had no reason to be angry) is all I don't know what they put in those things. I'm not buying it because it's an energy drink.
I'm just wondering if it is or if it isn't.

What? Energy Drink????
No!!!! Fuze is not an energy drink... They don't load it down with B Vitamins/Taurine/Guarana and whatever else... It's a fruit juice drink sort of like Sobe except Fuze has more "Low-Carb" varieties...

Well what exactly is in it then because it does have some weird ingredients listed in the label.
Fuze provides natural energy... Not with added refined sugar but with sugar from fruits... It's more like a juice than an "energy drink"... Not to mention, Fuze actually lists what the vitamins and nutrients in the drink DO instead of being like RedBull or Monster and just saying that the drink contains vitamins... What the heck is Guarana/Taurine anyway?
What does Fuze: Slenderize contain?
Well, first of all, I'm generally going to state that Fuze contains Vitamin C from natural juices (not additives). The following is what "else" it contains. Most of it is to aid in the transportation of lipids, increase circulation, and increase the insulin sensitivity in individuals. As a result of all of the effects of Fuze, the person has "increased energy" and less "appitite" because the body has more access to energy (stored fat) than it would normally. Therefore, the effects of Fuze help the person "slenderize" as the name suggests.
All of the "supplements" (as they should be called) are considered generally safe even if used in large doses. However to consume them in large quantity isn't going to increase results.

- Garcinia Cambogia Rind Extract (Natural in Fuze b/c of "Extract")
- "Garcinia, also known as Garcinia Cambogia, contains a
biologically active compound which is known to inhibit the synthesis of
lipids and fatty acids and lower the formation of LDL and
triglycerides. Garcinia also contains significant amounts of Vitamin C
and has been used as a heart tonic. Research suggests that this natural
extract may also inhibit the conversion of excess calories to body fat.
Additionally, appetite is also suppressed by promoting synthesis of
glycogen. Glycogen is the stored form of glucose, one of the body's
primary sources of energy. Increased glycogen production and storage is
the body's normal way of signaling the brain's satiety centre that
enough food has been eaten. This has made Garcinia a very effective
herbal medicine for controlling obesity and cholesterol. It is a well
established fat burning agent all over the world and is currently
becoming a rage in America, Japan, Europe and many other western
nations. It is recommended as a dieting aid supported by exercise and a
balanced nutritional diet."
(Directly quoted from: http://www.herbalprovider.com/garcinia-cambog ia.html?src=ggl&w=garcinia&gclid=CO3B lff8jZQCFQL8iAodxgU9Ww) - L-Carnitine (Not Natural in Fuze, but "Natural")
- L-Carnitine is an EAA (Essential Amino Acid) that is already found in the body. L-carnitine is
very similar to the nonessential amino acid carnitine. It performs some
of the same functions, such as helping metabolize food into energy.
- Carnitine boosts energy by stimulating the body's burning of triglycerides
as fuel, and sparing the supply of glycogen stored in the liver for heavier
exertion. During exercise, the body will burn fat at a rate of 75-80% of
maximum exertion, thus less glycogen from carbohydrates is burned. L-carnitine
allows the body to burn more fat, save more glycogen, and ultimately boost
stamina and endurance. By providing more fat to the muscles, carnitine
makes accessible an otherwise unavailable energy source.
- (It is also used in Anti-Celulite Creams because of this affect.)
- It is also found in avocados, dairy products, and red meats (especially lamb and beef).
- Taking L-carnitine is very safe, although the DL form of carnitine may be toxic and is not recommended.
- Chromium Picolinate (From of Chromium, Not Natural in Fuze)
- Chromium
Picolinate is thought to be the best source of chromium. Chromium is a
trace mineral that is essential to the body's production of insulin.
-
Research shows that chromium is an essential part of our diet. Chromium
picolinate can have many beneficial results when supplemented. It
enhances insulin's effect in the body, improving the uptake of glucose,
thereby causing better blood circulation and maintenance of blood sugar
level. Gaining energy, burning fat, and building muscle with greater
ease are attributed to chromium, to name a few. It assists the body in
losing weight by helping it to build muscle to replace fat. Lowering
body fat and increasing lean body mass are just a few of the positive
properties that chromium picolinate exhibits on the body. Whoa, that is
powerful!
- Research and most literature suggest supplementation of between 50 and 300 mcg to compliment a 2,000-calorie diet is adequate. When taken in such doses, chromium picolinate has not been shown to cause toxicity in humans.
Just to clarify the packaging: "Super Citrimax(TM)" is more than likely just a blend of Garcinia Cambogia Rind Extract + the Supplements mentioned. Typically the world would call the use of multiple supplements that complement each other a "stack". However companies will try and make it seem "special" to increase sales by attaching a special trademarked name. It's just an extract that can be bought under different names, stores, forms, that will provide the same effect.
I like the fuze except that it seems to be expensive for what it is. I also like the vitamin water with the same caveat. Crystal light (raspberry lemonade) is my favorite flavored water right now
