Gain during the day

I wanted to know if it was normal to gain a few lbs during the day.  I just weighed myself and was 2lbs heavier than this morning's weight.  Thanks!

It's the weight of the food and water you've consumed.
Don't weigh yourself too often.   Body-weight is constantly shifting depending on hydration levels, food intake, bowel movements.... Weighing at the same time of day once a week will show you a more accurate trend.

^I second weighing yourself at the same time of day. My weight can fluctuate up to 4lbs during in the day depending what I've eaten etc. I normally weight my self in the morning, after I've been to the toilet but before I've eaten or drunk anything

yep!  you shouldn't weigh yourself too often, but i do.  i'm normally up at least 4 pounds during the day!  don't worry about it  :D

I can vary 2lbs-4lbs if I weigh myself later in the day due to food and liquid consumption.

this totally happens to me.  i know weighing yourself too often is a sign of obsession but I can't help being curious but it just usually pisses me off. LOL  I like my first roll outta bed step on the scale weight.  :)

nillytoots, me too! i weigh myself in the morning, every morning. then throughout the day i'll be like "hmm, i'm curious!" and i'll jump on the scale. i need to stop b/c it gets me awfully discouraged! i wish i had the willpower to weigh in only once a week.

I do this too, I am usually up 2-4 punds everyday.  Then the next morning it is usually back to normal.  I so much want ot skip the scale on some days but I can't, i just don't have the will power.  It's like a drug.
