Gain a lasting 5lbs in 2 days?
Don't look back too much, just take it in stride, don't worry,y ou didn't gain 5, but try not to do it again, keep to your diet, and next time try to cheat in moderation (excessive is never worth it :))
Since one week, I put on 4.2 pounds and it doesn't want to leave! I guess these things happen. In your case, I'm sure it's only water retention... As someone told me a couple of days ago, the important thing is to get back on track, the extra pounds will leave, one day or another.... Good luck!
oh gosh I hope your right techraven. You can read my journal for detailed description of "like a cow"...it was probably more than a cow tho. Cows just eat grass. I actually ate cow when I was eating like a cow lol. But aaanyways. We'll see if it comes off in the next week or so. I'm gonna eat about 1200 cals instead of 1500 and exercise every single stinking day like crazy! you're right it was DEFINATELY not worth a single second of it.
Roylucie92, you gained 4 over a whole WEEK tho right? it wasnt just a day or 2 like me? I dont know. I am still baffled by the amount I was able to consume.
I gained 3 pounds...Then weigh day today, and I've lost those 3 pounds AND a 4th one. Don't worry too much about it, everyone has set backs.
Yea, sounds bout like me "wanted to make the most of it". I just feel so lousy I want to just forget it all and just be sad about it but I really do ENJOY being healthy and eating healthy and counting calories and exercising and everything. It's like I just go back to my old ways because Im so used to believing that it makes me feel good and happy. Sure, food is enjoyable, but not like yesterday. Yesterday was like punishment. Oh well, live and learn!
The only thing that is going to make this ok in my mind and get me through to continue on is deciding to learn from it and not do it again. :) Thanks for the reply!
Dont worry about it! Easter week was "bad" for me.... overeating and no exercise (scale said 164). At the end of the following week, I weighted 158. I also drank lots of water to get rid of the bloat!
Welp, its been over a week and these extra 5 havent budged! Its not water its not bloat its FAT. :( oh well. back to weight watchers for now. Thats easier to stick to for some reason.
