I work out doing Jillian Micheal's 30-day shred everyday. She does 2 types of weight-lifting twice in each circuit and does three circuits. i only do the weight lifting twice, instead of 4 times, in each circuit. If i stick to my calories and do this everyday will I lose weight? I don't want to gain weight, even in muscle.
You don't really gain weight with muscle, it trades places. Muscle does weigh more than fat, but muscle also replaces fat. Your body will also burn fat because glucose is stored in fat. Muscle can not store glucose. When you maintain a lower calorie count and are active there is an exchange of fat for muscle, this can lead to no loss of weight for a week, but that doesn't mean you didn't get healthier. So many of us feel that we did a lot of work and didn't lose weight. We give up. I am currently eating better, exercising better but have not lost any weight. I do feel better though, my clothes feel looser, I have more energy, I have fewer aches and pains, so I say to myself this is great. The weight will come off at some point, don't get discouraged.

So you can log your weight -- which allows you to do the following:
- Plot your weight curve
- Analyze the trend of your weight (see under Recent in the figure above)
- Determine the projected target date (see under Overall in the figure above)
