Here's what works
Eat a balanced diet that is the appropriate amount of calories for you to lose, based on the CC tools.
Move more, even it it's just taking a walk
When you finally lose weight and get to your goal, use the CC tools again to determine your calorie level for maintenance.
Do these things forever, not just for now.
