I think I've gained 15-20 pounds so far. In two weeks I gained a whopping 6 pounds!!! I couldn't believe it!! I haven't been eating all that well but I don't think it's been that bad. I haven't been to the gym at all in 5 months, so I guess that's it. Although I've gained that much, my doctor said I was all baby. My BF said he can tell that my thighs are thicker and of course my stomach and my back has gotten some fat on it. I don't like the back thing at all. I don't want to have a fat back and no butt. My butt is pretty much gone. What little butt I had developed from working out so hard. I have my gym clothes in the car. Now if I could just get there. :/

I weighed in today at a WIC appt and I'm still at a 17 lbs weight gain. I've stopped gaining since about 10 weeks ago, but growth is good and baby is very active. My last appt (1 1/2 weeks ago) was fine. Guess I'll see what my midwife says at my Tuesday appt. I'll be 36 weeks then and I've been having contractions here and there. I think I am overdoing it. I took tonight off from school to rest for a change. This is the first time I have ever napped during pregnancy. That's WEIRD for me. LOL! Maybe they'll suggest an ultrasound to monitor. I would love another. Hehe!Innocent

Well, I had a checkup at 35 weeks this past Wednesday (Shill, I think we're due the same day...Oct. 14th?) and my total weight gain so far has been 30 pounds. I gained almost all of it in the second trimester and have only gained about 5 pounds during the third. I've been retaining a ton of water in despite watching my sodium and drinking a lot of water. I've not been very active in the last 6 weeks and recently found out I'm anemic. My husband keeps reminding me that I lost all the weight the first time around and will be able to do it again but looking at that scale every week is rough!

I, too, have had two days in the past two weeks where I had contractions all day. Irregular and very painful (hard to concentrate through them!) my doctor thought it was a combination of sciatic pain and contractions. Wee!

Ha, me too on the sciatic/contraction pain. I'm due on the 15th. Smile Last night I started to call L&D or head in because from 10pm til midnight I was having painful contractions and cramping. I really had to breathe and concentrate to get t hrough them. They have subsided today, but I am taking it easy. I have school 9-4:45 tomorrow and it's getting brutal. The 40 min drive to and from there every time is what kills me. I get so tired and my phone signal is in and out since it's a pretty country drive. Night classes are when I worry most. I am leaving at 10pm and driving in the dark while I'm exhausted.

My next appt is Tues at 36 weeks and I can't wait to get an update. I don't want to go too early, but I am getting anxious. I'm so ready. I'm sure you are too. Don't worry about the weight. C-C is here for that later. LOL! It's temporary and 30 is not bad at all. Hell, it's normal. Wink

Now...who will go first? The race is on.

At 22 weeks I have gained about 10 lbs.

I will (unfortunately) have a scheduled c-section and I'm hoping the surgeon will let me schedule it for the 10th. I am so ready.

36 weeks is so close to full term that it surely can't be "too early." I have read that the brain grows rapidly from 35-40 weeks but premature infants catch up very quickly. Good luck at your appointment. Weekly appointments from here on out. Yay. (hence the sarcasm!)

With my first one I gained something north of 70 pounds (I stopped looking at the scale).  I'm 23 weeks along with my second and have gained 2 pounds so far.  Of course, I was still up 25 pounds from before my first one....so I think I'm probably about the same as I was at this point with my first one.

10 weeks for me so I am just at the beginning.  Only 1 lb for me so far which is great because the last 2 times I was already like 10lbs and gained about 40 to 50 for each.  Much healthier now though, maybe it will come off faster.

I'm 27 weeks and I've gained about 20lbs (I'm 5'9" with a large frame), most of that in the second trimester. I'm having a bit of a hard time with it since I'm trying to watch what I eat and eat very healthy but I seem to keep gaining! I've put on 5lbs in the last two weeks and even though I tracked my calories to see what was up, I shouldn't have gained that much!

This is my first pregnancy, so it is hard to see the scale go up.
