I do the same thing on the weekends, but my problem is wine....

give it a day or two  - if you're back on track for Monday and Tuesday, I'll bet you see a loss by Wednesday am.

amount aside, all the spices and whatnot for the seasonings has TONS of sodium, so you're probably retaining water just from that

all in all - crawfish are a pretty healthy dinner, including the potatos and corn!  it's the other stuff that goes with it - the beer! - that'll kill your weigh in

did you at least have a good time?

I can gain 3 pounds in a day no problem. Weekends kill me and I always find a bit of gain on Monday. I get back to it and find that it comes off again. It feels like a yo-yo but not much I can do about it. I am more concerned today with the 4 pounds I gained over the last week from PMS eating and water gain. It will be fine as long as we get back on track.

Just noticing your name "mdavila80", my last name is Davila (well ya know it was my husbands before I married hime LOL) thought that was neat!

Unless you ate 10,500 calories over your normal calorie expenditure, you didn't gain 3 lbs of fat.

Depending on the seasonings in the boil and the other stuff you ate, it's more likely water gain due to sodium.

Drink more water, get some exercise, and those 3 lbs will go away soon.

(The crawfish boil sounds like it was fun!)

The same thing happens to me from time to time! Sometimes I over-eat or eat fatty, salty foods on the weekend resulting in a "gain" of a couple pounds. I have to tell myself that it isn't a real gain, and that it'll be gone in a day or two. Some foods can take days and days to pass through your system, especially the foods I ate over this past weekend! (Pizza, a buffalo burger with fries... you get the picture.)

Like santonacci said, I drink more water and hit the gym. I also do some pilates moves bed.
