I gained two pounds!!! :)

I've just let myself relax and "go with the flow", which entails:

  • usually eating when others eat
  • eating untill completely content
  • not restricting any craving (have a small slice of pizza, who cares if you had dinner and ice cream and a buffet? hahaha :))
  • sticking to my dietician's plan AS WELL AS snacking as I see fit
  • not engaging in physical activity for any intentions involving "working off calories" or exercising

i already feel so much better! my moods have improved, and my stress has lessened dramatically! i didn't know where else to post this, but I felt like sharing! :D

i'm glad you posted this because i did the same thing starting today and it feels wonderful lol!!!

it does, it does! :D i'm so excited to have a stress-free food-filled spring break! :))

definitely...good luck..i'm here if you ever need to talk. how long have you been using this site??? I'm new.

gracias! :) ditto! just message me, or vice versa :) i've been using this website for like 2 weeks now? :D it's quite useful!

these are all fantastic signs towards recovery, I'm really happy for you, you've made my day!

It is true that once you feed yourself enough your brain can function properly enough to feel better and make better decisions!

Your making all the right moves keep it up! Just be aware of eating too much and feeling sick,

avoid anything and everything triggering - you know yourself well enough to know what these can be,

and make nutritious choices, part of recovery is replenishing your body of it's deprived nutrients and building it up again, emotionally you seem to be breaking the habbits and mind set!

Yush :D I really feel like I'm making the progess I've strived for for so long! :)) I'm trying to remain conscious of the food I am taking in though, just to make sure to get in all my nutrients BEFORE I start eating for pleasure, etc.... :D (ex: have the chicken before the cake, as to ensure you won't be too full for your protein serving after)

Congrats on the gain and on the new outlook.

gracias :)

Congratulations on the two pounds!

I gained three pounds between the beginning of January and the middle of February, and was soo excited!

But then my Dad was all like, "Only three pounds..?" And I'm like "Dad! Seriously?! This is great!"

Those non-gainers don't get our excitement when we put on even a pound. Tongue out

Anyways, congrats!!
