I know how you feel, I wish I was in the 130's, but nope...anyway.. I have gained weight since started my workouts and eating healthy so who knows...let me know if you get an answer, I am curious to know what the heck is going on with me too... : ) Good luck!
I think it is perfectly normal for our weight to fluctuate. It can be due to water weight, food weight etc.
Hi There...I'm in the same boat. Started CC on Monday, have been following my calorie intake of around 1200 a day and started doing Tae Bo (twice) and about 150-200 situps a day and bam...I put on 1.5 pounds?!? This is only the fourth day...so hopefully, it's just a weird fluctuation and I'll see results by the weekend. But if anyone has another explanation, I'd love to hear it.
Hey,
I think it is important to remember as mentioned previously your body weight will fluctuate. With cardio workouts mixing with your low calorie intake your body is converting fat into lean muscle. Muscle weighs more also.
With any exercise daily you should seriously consider increasing your calorie intake. 1200 is the minimum for women and that is in a sedentary state. Walking or any other aerobic exercise increases the rate at which your body (muscles) convert calories to energy over the entire day.
Too little calories daily with any activity will have your body go into starvation mode. And it will start trying to store any energy it can find for long term... aka fat.
*Not a doctor, but all the information I posted can be found around the web if you would like to verify.
I wish you the best of luck,

first thing I notice is that all of you are mentioning you just started or upped your work out. Porbably you are sore or at least your muscles are not used to this and have to 'bounce back' and that is exactly why you weigh some more. Recovering muscles tend to hold on to water, hence....more weight. Keep on going, you guys are on the right track!!!! ![]()
