hey all!

i'm really petite being 5ft, but most of this time its been okay with handilng my weight. i felt okay until i decided to get my weighing scale fixed and i realised i'd put on about 10 pounds! the funny thing is i haven't eaten anything in excess just cut down on the exercise. i freaked out and binged, now still feeling quite upset about it. not sure what i should do... :/

Get right back on that horse and buckle down.  You cut out a major part oif your life when you cut down on the exercise.  Either up the exercise or lower your calories....although you give no hints as to how much you are eating.

Shake the bad feeling off your back and get back to work.

hm i eat an average of about 1500 kcals which i think should be fine in maintaining my weight, i'm not quite sure why i gained so much... does it matter if one eats alot of calories in the morning (like around 1000) then little at night though it essentially amounts up to 1500? just wondering :/

I personally do believe that eating the majority of your calories at one time is not good for your metabolism. You should spread your calories throughout the day. 1,000 calories for breakfast may be a little excessive for a single meal.I eat every 3-4 hrs  and have been losing weight faster than when I was just eating 3 times a day. It's been working for me Wink

yeah just hang in there. if you were maintaining your weight while you were exercising and you stopped, then you're going to gain weight. so just keep track of what you eat. if you're gaining weight at 1500 calories then you obviously need less then that. don't worry about when to eat things too much. it's all just math. you obviously can't be eating 1500 calories a day, burning 1500 cal a day, and still be gaining weight. That would mean your body is running at over 100% efficiency. that's just impossible. Just hang in there and make sure you record everything you eat so you know where you're going wrong.
