Gained weight after working out
I am 27,5.6''.143lb. I am working out 5 times a day which includes 60 min aerobics and 30 min on elleptical or treadmill and some wight training in aerobics itself. I am eating healthy food and have started to build some muscles but my problem is that i went down to 140 lb few days ago and have gained back 3 lb . There has been nomajor change in my eating habits and diet in general.I am really frustrated.
Really depends on when your weighing yourself, there are alot of things that can change your current weight and throw it off a little. What you ate, coffee, exercising, clothes, etc. I always weigh myself in the morning before I do anything. Other than that you could be gaining muscle which weighs more than fat. Thats about all I can think of hope it helps. Keep up the good work though you'll get the weight off.
Thanks Foreverme24. I hope its a muscle weight. I will keep up with my routine and start weighing my self in mornings.
Are you male or female? This might not help, butyou are at least not alone. I am traing for a marathon, and am the same weight you are. After a long run, I will weigh up to 5 pounds more, but it gradually goes down over the next few days. With extreme exercise, the body holds on to water for awhile, thinking you are never going to stop exercising! Just keep doing what you're doing and weigh yourself every few days, in the morning, with no clothes. You will see a trend, but don't get hung up on the ups and downs. Weight is just like that. Nothing she's doing would net her muscle gain. psychew is more on the money.
3 lbs is also an easy fluctuation... don't get hung up on little gains and losses- it's the big picture that counts!! otherwise, you will drive yourself crazy.
