Ughh, I feel about 45280359 pounds heavier latley sense I upped my cals to 2,000.. and according to my scale, within the past week i've gone up 4 pounds :(! And it can't really be water weight either because I weigh myself basicly the same time every mornign after going to the bathroom before I eat/drink anything..

But anywayy..

5'3

lw- 93
gw- range of 107- 115( Made by doctor/nutritionist, I wouldn't prefer the higher side.. )
cw - I can't really tell.. 106-110?

thats sort of why im not weighing myself, im sure ive gained since eating more, but i know seeing those numbers will be a neg trigger for me and i also know that im not eating enough yet so i think its pointless to weigh myself.  btw, im also 5'3 but im 24.  also, your weight can change depnding on waht you ate the night before, i think it may be best to weigh just once a wk.

Thanks, agruskin, your probebly right.

But just to see if the number would change, i decided to weigh myself this morning. For some reason I was back down to 108? I don't relly know whats going on with my body right now, it seems like everythings fluctuating and adjusting, so I think I'm just going to stay at 2,000 and see what happens, letting my body adjust by itself.

And goodluck everyone with your goals!

I'm new at this! I'm a 13 year old girl.

Height- 5'4

LW- During ED probably 88

CW-94

GW-102 (Bare Minimum)

.

I am 5'7"

Lowest: 116

Highest: 145

Now: 120

Goal: 130 (my mom would be so happy)

I could complain and blame people, my grandma has always abused laxatives since my mom's childhood and is currently in her worst anorexic phase (105 lbs at 5'8") and my mom suffers, too, probably from being the daughter of an eating wreck. my mom is a healthy weight, around 140-145 at 5'7" or 5'8" but she only eats once a day and drinks black coffee with fake sugar all day long until her sole meal, and goes to exercise class 4+ times a week. and she makes ridic. excuses to not eat cheese/ peanut butter/ anything with significant fat or calories. i'm definitely ranting now..

i would really like to OVERCOME all this ridiculous family history =] seeing them i just think to myself- cut it out!!!

Hi,

I am 5'5" (or just under)

Lowest: 75 lbs

Highest: 102 lbs

Current: 92 lbs

Goal: 110 lbs

It's taken me 4 months to get to where i am but i have been totally inactive and am hoping to start some controlled weight training within the next few months to put on some muscle mass.

I started this thread to help people along with posting goals and weight for gaining. Does anyone want to post their comfort weight as well?

Maintanence is so hard to accomplish once the gaining phase is slightly over. I was wondering if along with your new stats you would want to post where you feel the most "amazing in your skin!"

Height: 5'7 Age: 22

Heaviest: 132

Lowest: 94

Current: Not positive at the moment (prob around 120ish)

Comfort level: 115, but I remember looking my best when I was 130!!
I like that idea, linny!

Height: 5'8 Age 29

Heaviest: 215

Lowest: 110

Current:124

Comfort level: 120, but I am getting used to 124 :)  My Doctor would really like me at 130, but I am thinking I may stop trying to gain (with 2500/day)at 125 and try to start maintaining at (2000/day) and see what happens.  I hear maintenance is hard and I imagine I will probably gain a little weight while trying to balance it out and  will probably get to 130 that way.

My weight has, on the doc's scale, gone down by 1.8lbs. Bum. I'm upped to 2500 this week anyway, and also trying to go dairy-free for a week to see if my bloating and constipation get better for it! [: Coffee flavoured soya desserts, yaaay.

Oh, and to add - my comfort level if I have to put a number to it would be 145. But my doctor wants me to reach about 10lbs more than that at least, and I'm okay with that provided I put on some musccclllee. Roar. xD

i am 5'2 currently 88 lbs

my lowest was 85 lbs

that's my first weigh in! every saturday..so next saturday i'll hopefully be 89 lbs

First weigh-in since i started gaining about 6 weeks ago - I am 5'7-5'8, lowest weight was 107 and I think Ive hit 116!!!!!!! Its scary 10 POUNDS wow!! but I am slowly getting more comfortable at this weight..still my comfort weight was definitely 110...Im scared though because I seem to be gaining really fast all the sudden...I am thinking of laying off the heavy gaining for a while???what do u all think? before i lost weight i was never over 125 so I think im nearing my goal weight....

Vesnar, your gaining will subside at a reasonable level once you hit a weight that your body wants to be at comfortable, whether that is 120, 125, 130, or 135! I think that you should not worry about laying off the heavy gaining and just listen to your body and make sure that you are eating gaining calories still. Good Luck and make sure to eat up babe!!

This thread is a great idea!  I am so excited to have found this forum.  I want to start journaling and joining in on the weigh ins and dailiy meal plans where I can as well as taking a good look at what I'm doing instead of so much planning what I want to be doing!

To start, I weigh in Monday mornings so this week's verdict is soon to be determined.  Last week I had the first gain of the month and was up 1.5 lbs to 99.  I will be happy to have held on to that this week, but sure as heck hope to break 100 by next week!

This is from weighing in the 80's during college and about 94-95 this year when I decided I need some more meat to me!  My goal range is 110-115.

Lately I've been averaging 3000 calories, but historically this only leaves mea t overall maintenance so I REALLY want to get to 4000.  My goal is to either build to that, or if I can, stay up at 3700 this weekend [to cram a week average of 3200, if that counts!] an then hope that it will be easier to hit 4000 next week from there.  Advice is appreciated though--I want to do this the healthy way!

To add about the comfort weight:

Well, I've "felt" to scrawny forever now, but where my body tends to stick is right aroun97-99.  I say this because I have ended up there after periods of time on 25-3000 calories as well as times when I have gotten up aroun 4000.  It's hard for me to get things to budge, which is why I'm hoping a consistent 4000 will do the trick.  My problem is I'll get full, busy, or have stomach issues so even when I think I'm pushing to eat anyways, I don't stay at the high 3000 level totals. Cry

One more I promise!

postivelynney-I just wanted to say I love your posts.  You ARE positive but also real, and sound like a really great person who I'd be honored to be friends with.

lala-I wanted to say beware of soy too.  I am lactose intolerant + semi-vegeterian and spent years eating gobs of soy.  Only just recently have I linked a ton of my GI issues [gas, constipation, discomfort] to SOY.  I found I can handle one or two soy products per day, but I always risk smelly gas and if I overdo it I really have issues.

Tuffstuff: Eek! Don't say that! ;____; Tofu is one of my favourite foods! Plus I have no clue what I could eat instead to get adequate calcium.

I know! At first I thought there was no way I'd survive!  i lived off of morning star/boca meat substitutes, plus soy milk, bars made with soy protein, and so on!

There ARE a lot of other options, it just takes being willing to break out of the box and give it a chance.  It's worth it if the soy is causing your problems, but I still cave in sometimes.

Oh, rice dream [milk] has the same calcium if not more than regular milk, and you can get the Plus version with a lot of other good vitamins too.  the chocolate and vanilla flavors are really tasty and even give cereal a good boost!  I've even warmed up a mug after meals for a rice-milk sort of hot chocolate.  It actually sooths my tummy. Smile

welcome tuffstuff and thanks for being so sweet....good luck on gaining, and please post here whenever you feel the need!

Gaining can be difficult, but just remember one step at a time is all it takes. I have faith in you...feel free to message me whenever you want.
Thanks Linny! I think my biggest roadblock is actually getting TOO overzealous an then letting myself down and giving up. I need to be stubborn about this, but at hte same time focus on my steps forward and not get stuck on my end goal--but never get there because i try to skip the process. I posted my gameplan in a journal entry just now, so feel free to keep me accountable! I'll try to post some when I can on here too.
