FINALLY I get to post on here!
After three hard weeks with my nutritionist and tears and tantrums!
I managed to halt my loss and maintain last week, and this week:
23ys/female
height: 181 (6 foot i think for you yanks!)
last week: 54 kg
THIS week: 54.7 KG
CAN I HEAR A HELL YEAH
(HELL YEAH)
and after getting over the initial ****'mworthlessandfatandhorriblerestrictnowyo udon't havetogainanymoreohbollocks phase, I finally thought, well, y'know, if I'm gaining, I might as well eat the foods I LIKE anyway - the end result is the same: so now I have a completely new and free attitude to food!
woot
but I wanted to ask: although I don't have a period anymore, I still get bloated/discharge around a certain time of the month and its been happening this week: I know people gain weight with the period, is it possible some of this weight will be period weight even though I don't menstruate anymore?
sorry boys for that question but to be honest, practically half f this planet bleed every month so get used to it....
toodle pip

a questiion for u. in ur journal oct 23 your 5'10 n 53kg - above you are 5'11 n 54kg.
your rate of gain has slowed a bit and i know you were talking about hunger. did you push your cals above 2500 to keep the gain rate up.
thanks fidget . my height is inbetween 5ft 10 and 11 . yes my weight gain has slowed ive upped my calories to about 2700 perhaps this isnt enough have to admit in struggling i wish i could be a bit more relaxed about it all after all i need to gain so eat i think but its easier said than done . hopefully ill be able to bite the bullet and get my calories up in the next few days thanks for your concern h x
agruskin: I'll admit, I wasn't actively trying to gain back that pound. It's most likely because I've been eating sooooooooooooo much this past week. Like 3500+ per day.
GOOBY-hey, regardles, from a psych stand point, gaining that pound back was beyond important, so good job! you also started activity up, rt? i think great job getting that pound back!
I'm so proud of all of you! Regretfully, this was the "first" day of recovery away from school and things did not go so well... Hopefully things will get better in the long run, but to be eating again seems kind of overwhelming and I just feel too alarmed to actually be eating what I KNOW I should....
At this rate, recovery is still a far far away goal...

Ugh. This week has been really busy, I've been like, all over the place, and we're doing rennovations on our kitchen, so eating isn't exactly an easy task. I thought it might balance since I haven't had the time to work out, either, but now I can see that I was just making stupid excuses to eat less than the amount to gain.
Could be worse...I could've lost. Ah well, it's a new week, full of food :)
Guys and gals, you're doing great!
I'm feeling amazing myself:) Here's where things stand:
Female, 21, 5'3"
Low weight: 77 lbs
Current weight: 109.5
This gives me a BMI of 19.4! Woo-hoo! And I have boobs again--hello curves! Ooh, and I've got muscles! (Yeah, we're seeing some ab definition coming on! Yowza!) I never dreamed I would be able to actually (almost) like my body at such a "huge" size, but folks I'm here to tell you, IT'S HAPPENING!!!
I'm a real girl again! I had forgotten what it was like. . . . To those of you who may be struggling, keep on going and don't give up! I know it's hard to believe, but the day will come when it will all be worth it and you'll see the world through new eyes.

Height: 5'2.5 (I think, might be just 5'2)
LW: 38kg
Last week: 42.8kg
This week: 43.2kg

I'm struggling today. I gained nearly a pound on 2000-2200 (bad, I know) so I'm going to push up to 2500 but I am utterly terrified.

So you can log your weight -- which allows you to do the following:
- Plot your weight curve
- Analyze the trend of your weight (see under Recent in the figure above)
- Determine the projected target date (see under Overall in the figure above)
