linz6700, ignore the post above mine. This person is trying to sell you a product and "help" you by  promising fast weight loss. Fast weight loss only leads to yo-yo dieting. In order to lose weight and keep it off, you must make this a lifestyle change. 10lbs isn't a lot (there are people like me, who want to lose aroudn 100lbs overall) in the grand scheme of things, but you need to do it in a healthy way in order to ensure  you don't gain it back. =)

First of all, the previous poster's point of drinking more water is about the only good one she had. If you drink more water, you can reduce bloating and therefore shed a couple of pounds of water weight. You should also restrict your calories a  bit. Since it sounds like you might already be around the healthy range of weight for your height, you won't need to cut your calories a lot, as you're not expected to lose weight quickly, and shouldn't expect to, to be honest. Your body is already close to where it wants to be at, weight-wise, so it'll hold onto the extra fat rather tightly.

If you tell us your weight, height, and age, I can give you a rough calorie estimate to eat a day in order to lose a .5lb-1lb per week. Now, you might find you don't need to lose weight, and that you just need to tone up. Incorporate some strength training into your life--it'll help you get that leaner look you want, and you won't bulk up--especially if you have a calorie deficit.

Don't get sucked into the "lose weight fast" advertisement of sorts above. It's not worth it, trying to lose weight fast. You end up just gaining it all back and then some, and then you gain back mostly fat, so you just end up worse off than you were before. Taking it slow and easy is the  best way to go about weight loss. =)

Eat balanced/clean and exercise/strength train. Count calories.

ok Beans have tons of sodium in them which retain water... so by her telling you to drink tons of water and then eat beans is like an oxymoron....

Drink water but make fresh bean dishes.. not canned..

I should practice what i preach.. i eat about 3 cans of beans a week... and I wonder Why i have gained weight.. damn sodium. sodium is the Devil

One thing I do to try to cut back on the sodium in canned goods is buy the low or no salt kind. I also have a small strainer and I rinse beans, tuna, salmon, veggies under water and then drain them. That removes a lot of the salt.
