Gaining Weight?

Quote  |  Reply

I raised my calorie intake to 2000 calories a few months ago and I haven't been eating over my calorie limit. Yet for some reason I'm slowly gaining back weight even though I know I'm not consuming 3600 excess calories. Can someone help explain why this is happening?

Your profile says you're 15 and the one thing you're guaranteed to do between the ages of about 15 and 20 is grow....  2000 doesn't sound like too many calories for an averagely active teenager.  If you're slowly gaining weight, chances are you're simply growing.

gi-jane is probably on to something there.  You might be hitting a growth spurt.

Keep it up though, 2000 is not too many calories at all. :)
