Gay/Lesbian??????? Are there any out there

Ok so I know that there are gay and lesbian people watching their weight.  We have a certain difficulty because the community is really split in two.  There are the overly buff ( I need to compensate for not being normal) and then there are the overweight (I compensate by eating my feelings of not belonging)

Awesome ^^ I was looking around for some GLBT peeps and it seems like there're quite a few more on here than I realized! I'm a Kinsey 4.5 ;) I've been with my girlfriend for almost 5 years, and I'm emotionally and physically attracted to women, but on a physical level I do find some guys attractive. I'm sure it says something about me, but I find more feminine guys to be breath-takingly gorgeous ;) I'd be sexual with a guy -- sounds like fun! -- I just feel like I can really connect emotionally with a woman. I mean, how nice is it to have someone who TOTALLY understands when you're PMSing or having cramps? :D

I'm climbing back on the bandwagon after a 7 or 8 month hiatus - and putting all my weight back on *dies* Started on Monday and -- so far so good! In fact... TOO good... my calorie intake has been a LOT lower than it was last time I did this, so either I'm eating better or I'm totally missing something... ;) My girlfriend and our roomie are also starting the diet with me, so it's a big ol' lesbian support group over here, lol! Makes the dieting SO much easier

Ya gotta love good ol' lesbian support circles!  I so wish there were more lesbians around here...I should say "out" lesbians.  I fear there are lots of women in the closet around these parts.  That's one thing I miss about NYC...it didn't matter as much what your sexual orientation was.  *pining for NYC*

We're out here! I'm a lesbian and I live in Chicago, IL and you're right....the gay community is all over the place when it comes to weight. I feel like we're way more critical than then general public.  I'm working on losing weight for me and to maintain a healthy lifestyle not so I can look good and meet some hot girl at a club this weekend.  It's been slow going,b ut over the past 4 years I've lost 40 lbs.  I'm 10 lbs shy of my goal weight - wish me luck!

well i am not gay, but i had to say when people ask if there are gay or lesbian people here and the first like 5 posts say "i am not gay but" is kinda funny to me...i guess i am doing the same thing but had to say i thought it was humorous...good luck everyone
