Lol! that stuff is deadly. x_x

Next time you have some, have an extra spoonful for me, I'm allergic to the hazelnuts it. Frown

Have you tried half-and-half?

Try the peanut butter with the Nutella....IT'S DIVINE, on a spoon, in bread (like a pb and jam sandwich), on your finger and don't get me started about adding coconut flakes....

***picchi slinks off to the kitchen to make herself a yummy yummy piece of toast***

I refuse to buy nutella! I've never had it, but I hear how awesome it is, and I just won't go there. I know I'll be addicted to it at first taste. So on the shelves it stays :) I can't miss what I don't know!

If you have an IHOP near you, they have nutella crepes. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh. :D

x17star, you're smart! lol

i actually tried it WITH the peanut butter today first on a spoon, and omg. wow. so then i made a sandwich with it Embarassed hahaha it's sooo good!

i just feel like i'm eating chocolate frosting or pudding out of a jar! lol.

eeeeewwwww i hate that stuff its so gross, all of you are weird lol :P

Try a scoop in hot cocoa. UMMMM creamy goodness all warm.

I have to stay away or I'll eat the whole jar, but when the kids ask for a nutella and banana sandwich I make sure some gets on my fingers to lick.

Oh and if you try the banana and nutella sandwich dip it in eggs (like frech toast) after it's made and cook it up.   So good.  Even more addictive then plain.

so how many calories in a spoon or serving of nutella?

tbh i think it would be bad for me to buy it cos i'd prob eat the jar with a spoon eek!!

i'd love it to be better than marg.. or jam.. or syrup :D

37 grams or "2 tablespoons" are 190 Calories. Very similar to peanutbutter.

UD

My jar says the same as UD's  But it is heavier then PB and more satifing, like dark chocolate is "better" then milk chocolate.

I'm not sure but I think where it's made with hazelnuts it maybe "better" for you then PB too.

jeeeez guys i need to get this jar outta my house! lol

lol, a jar never lasts long in my house! That stuff is addictive!

I will never buy nutella because I will probably eat the entire jar in an entire day.  Bad idea.  Things like that make me forget what self control is.. so I keep them out of the house!

No, it's certainly not better for you than PB.  It's mostly sugar and oil.  It's nasty.

At least it has less sodium then.  LOL.

A friend gave me a jar once...I gave it back, it's just not my thing as I don't like hazelnuts.

I live in Italy, where Nutella was invented!  Nutella is EVERYWHERE.  They have ice cream (gelato) that is made with nutella.  Also, for breakfast they sell these sweet croissants called cornetti that are filled with nutella.

Nutella was invented after WWII when everyone was too poor to buy just chocolate (there was a big tax on cocoa beans which made it more expensive).  So they mixed it with hazelnuts, which made the product cheaper (less chocolate, more hazelnuts).  It is actually a food of the poor, historically speaking.

I'm personally not the biggest fan of it, but there are people who love it.  Plus, a lot of times it is sold in little glasses that you can later use as drinking glasses.  They are usually pretty cute.

I bought this stuff because of all the hype on here and while it is good it is not necessarily "addicting" as most imply.  I bought a jar about 2 months ago and have had maybe 5 spoonfuls from it
