Gerber Banana Puff Snacks

Quote  |  Reply

Anyone tried these?  I bought some last night, along with some cherry ones (which I have yet to try) and they're pretty good!

I ate them dry - but I think I'm going to add them to my chocolatey cottage cheese/yogurt breakfast tomorrow for some added crunch.

25 calories per half cup.  They're so amazing!

I used to buy them for my kids, never really thought about buying them for myself!  They are pretty yummy, and that is a good serving size.  But, I want to know about your chocolatey cottage cheese/yogurt breakfast!  That sounds like something I need to try!

I don't eat baby food.

I don't buy them for my kid...way too high sugar.  And they are way $$.

Well -

it's best with just 1 cup low fat/fat free cottage cheese mixed with 1 tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and a few teaspoons of a sweetener of your choice.

But I have an unpredictable stomach that sometimes accepts dairy, and sometimes rejects it, so I often times use 1/2 cup cottage cheese and 1/2 cup low fat/fat free vanilla yogurt.  I prefer Dannon Light & Fit Vanilla, but any kind is fine.

Ugh - it's so good and creamy!  Just remember to not leave out the sweetener - it's really not good without it!

I like to mix cereal with it and the banana flavored puffs seemed fit.

I like them in my Oatmeal. :)

Yes! I loved those things! I cou;dn't really find a good thing to add them on, so I usually ate them by themselves for dessert. Yumm

I've popped a few in my mouth when my kids were babies and they are tasty but of course not at all substantial. Interesting idea for adding some crunchy texture to yogurt, I may try it. Today I added cocoa, calorie free chocolate flavoring, and splenda to my plain yogurt and crumbled up chocolate rice cake over it. It was pretty darn good to me since it's that chocolate time of the month.

mmm I love them but they're far too expensive for me =[

I used to work at a drug store and I bought those and the zesty tomato cheese puffs and OHMYLIFE so tasty.:) The banana ones were a little chemical in my opinion, but I would still try eating them like cereal or something!
My favorite Gerber product is the freeze dried fruit! That stuff is amazing and pretty low cal. I've also found it filling.

what is your chocolately cottage cheese recipe? it sound good.
