I am stumped as to what to get my boyfriend for valentines day. We've been together almost a year and a half.. and i could get him some new bob dylan dvd/book but it's getting old (i've gotten him a ton of dylan things). He loves music but i've gotten him every new cd i knew he wanted lately. I know I could cook him a nice dinner - but I thought that would be an additional thing - also he's not big on sweets, does not like chocolate. the only things i've thought of are i could just buy some lingerie for me to wear.. or i thought of making this book of quotes for him - but it's kind of similar to what he gave me last v-day and also we live in a studio together i have no idea when i could make that without him around or seeing it. He's writing a screenplay and that takes up a lot of his time -but he has a degree in film so i'm not sure what i could buy him related to that that would actually be new.

my wife gets me the same thing for every holiday...an hour massage....i know what i am getting every holiday but i love it!!
My suggestion would be cook him the dinner and do a little scavenger hunt that leads to the lingerie. You could incorporate the hour massage as suggested above as one of the scavenger gifts plus the book of quates, maybe a mixed CD of things to play while you put on the lingerie. Its creative and he will appreciate the effort ! Good Luck!
I love the idea of anything handmade for V-day. One year I made my now husband a book called "100 reasons why I love you." He said it was his favourite gift ever and he was really touched. It's a little bit cheeeeesy but hey

Um, maybe a script in book form of a movie he really likes? Something from a craft fair/farmer's market that is unique and decorative?
